Northlake Senior Apartments

"I had to add to this review because on 7/24/23. There were eight vehicles that were vandalized and broken into. My grandmother's vehicle was one of them. This is a sad world that we live in to break into a senior citizen community and let alone any community. I don't understand why there are no security cameras or security guards. It should be a gated community. If you can't spend the money housing authority to get a gated community to protect the senior citizens vehicles and the people then at least there should be security guards. First of all, there is only one manager on site and one maintenance manager to handle the entire building of requests. That is just ridiculous. How can just two people handle the requirements and requests of each resident. My grandmother said that people have not gotten their ceilings and leaks taken care of. This not a safe haven for senior citizens. Please housing authority read this because the city of Tucker is supposed to be a good place and one should not have to pay all of this money for rent and not have things fixed in a timely manner. Please take this seriously because I am concerned for not only the safety of my grandmother, but the safety and well-being of all the residents. Things need to be kept clean, walls, cleaned, painted walls, marks removed and still the sanitizer dispensers have not been filled and labeled with the expiration dates. -_---------+---++++------+++++++++++++ Please refill all hand sanitizer dispensers, bathroom toilet paper and clean outside restroom on 5th floor and 1st floor. According to infection control, all hand sanitizer dispensers should be filled and checked and have an expiration date. The trash can near the outside garage level should be cleaned and removed on a regular basis. Maybe you should get a covered trash can and that will reduce on the fruit flies and bugs that enter Everytime you open the door. That is disgusting. People leave trash that attracts bugs and the fruit flies and bugs are always on the windows. Other than that, the place is a good place to live and the property manager and maintenance manager are fine, just a shortage . They need more help. The doors and walls need to be painted also. I truly believe if they had more help and and with guidance of the two managers, the place would be an A+. Housing authority please read this and get your people some help. They are overworked and need more help in order to keep this place intact and be able to check everything on a regular basis."

"Not sure how any apartments are ever rented here to Seniors? Called on behalf of my mother for the last month. Emails to the addresses online, emails to the address listed here in reviews, emails to the address posted on the location's door which lists pinnacle as the management address. Doesn't really matter because no one seems to answer. Also not all seniors are tech savy nor have computers. But it doesn't matter because getting a call, answer or message seems impossible."

"Joe, the maintenance person, is awesome and very patient with the residents. He was very helpful with my mom with some issues within her unit, even when he had other orders to complete, he still took time to assist my mom. Pinnacle did a great job in hiring him. Thank you Joe."

"My ice maker was giving me problems dispensing ice. I stopped in the office the Friday after Thanksgiving and spoke to Joseph. He immediately identified the problem and made the necessary adjustments. I am so pleased with the customer service, and the consideration shown by both Sheena and Joseph. They are an awesome team. "Can't say enough good things about the crew at Northlake, Sheena has been patient and extremely helpful from the first time I met her, and she and Dana continue to be so. Joseph is a God send to us all, any problems we bring to him are resolved quickly and efficiently.
