Courtyard by Marriott Atlanta Northlake 4083 Lavista Road, Tucker, GA 30084

"Had to change rooms due to phone not working, sheets were dirty, wash cloths we're dirty, no fridge and room had bad smell but it was from paint. Next room moved into was slightly better. The only down side was phone didn't work. The thermostat on the wall didn't work so had to use the regular unit by window. Didn't know they wasn't going to clean room until the 2nd day. Hallway was freezing cold. Rooms were hot when walked in. Nice suggestion but don't turn it on 80. Maybe should leave the heat on 72 for guests. If you have asthma then the heat would not be good for that person."

"Hotel is currently going through renovations, this is definitely a construction site. Make sure to ask it the bathtub will drain and if the AC and elevator works before you check in. Also verify the cost of the room before hand because it could potentially change overnight. Overall it was a decent stay for a cheap hotel, unfortunately this is a Marriott so the standard in most locations is different, this particular location missed the mark."

"Stayed in a Nice large king room that entered onto the pool area. Location is 20mins from the city and plenty of restaurant and shopping options nearby. It’s day 4 and my room is being cleaned for the first time, I sure if this is normal or I needed to have requested a clean. Staff are friendly"

"The hotel is undergoing “renovations” which required them to turn off the water. They put up a sign that stated it would be turned on at 5pm. It is 11pm and there is still no running water. The front desk was not informing anyone of the change unless asked. They also lied about when the water will return and gave four separate times when the water should be turned on. The staff seems highly inexperienced and unable to handle high stress situations although they are friendly, which is the only saving grace. The hotel has dirty rugs and has no elevator and the stairs have no lip and are a tripping hazard. I would stay away as while they are nice they will lie to your face. I never got to fully experience any amenities. The location is serviceable and there are at least several restaurants in the immediate area."

"This place is disgusting. I expect a relatively nice experience at a Marriott. They say they are remodeling, but as a construction superintendent I can assure you it is not being done in an orderly manner. All the carpet throughout the building, halls and rooms, is old, stained, and frayed. Steps in hallways are a tripping hazard due to the carpet and stair nose. There is no elevator. We are in a second floor room and our closest fire escape is actually blocked due to construction. We happen to be staying several days on points. If that were not the case we would move to a different location. The staff is doing the best they can and they seem friendly and understanding. The location seems a little dumpy but there are some food and shopping choices close by."
