"The worst building I’ve ever lived in. I moved into the unit in August - and it was as if no one bothered to look at the unit before my arrival. The dishwasher was inoperable, the fridge water was inoperable, there was no microwave in the unit, the backdoor lock wasn’t secure and the apartment was dirty. The team was impossible to get in touch with and only after emailing their VP of operations did I get a response. The issues above took months to fix. They force residents to pay for valet trash which is supposed to be taken out 5 days a week - trash is typically picked up once a week. A week after moving in a burglar was shot and able access the back gate which leads into the courtyard. The wounded burglar ended up knocking on several residents doors in the courtyard until police showed up 30 minutes later . A 26 year old girl was murdered in the parking garage a week before I moved in - and they refused to reduce the rent or release residents from their lease. I can’t wait until my lease is over! Not only will I not recommend this property- I’ll actively warn people to live anywhere else in the area but Mark at West Midtown."
"The office staff is amazing and follows through with your requests. I’ve had the pleasure to work with Kaylia, James, Chris and others. Outstanding customer service. The only negative I have is the grounds is a little uncapped. They are lights down in the garden area and the grill looks like it hasn’t been maintained in a long time but other than that amazing place I love my apartment. Five stars."
"I have been living here for 5 years and never had a single complaint until property management changed. I'll start with the the pros: maintenance is the only reliable and efficient staff here. Cons: The property has rats due to poor waste management, trash is constantly overflowed. I woke up to a giant rat on my balcony, I will not be renewing my lease alone because of that. 2. A 26 year old girl was killed in our parking garage in the evening, which worries me as we use to have excellent security on the premises prior to change of property management. 3rd if you work from home do not move here as you constantly will be interrupted my a leaf blower as that is what is used to clean the halls everyday at 1pm. You're guest cars will also get broken into in the visitor parking or booted if parked over 2 hours. The leasing office staff does not follow up on concerns or return calls for that matter."
"FINAL UPDATE: I advise against moving here IF you are working with the leasing agent James G. If you are working with Damon then you're in great hands. James, however, is a new leasing "manager" and tried to incorrectly charge me & take a significant amount of money from my security deposit ($105). James claimed that I "ripped" and "tore" the carpet in my bedroom when I moved out. I went back to the complex & asked to see the torn carpet. The below attached photo is what I saw. It simply was a furniture indention of where my bed frame was and NOT "torn" and "damaged" carpet. I lived here for 2 years & my bed frame remained in the same spot for 2 years. Naturally, there would be an indentation in the carpet when you move furniture off of its resting place. It wasn't until I requested to speak with a real manager (Damon) where he was considerate, professional and quickly worked to correct the scam that James tried to place with my security deposit. Again, IF you choose to live here...only work with Damon. James will try to take money from you, as he did with me. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- EDITED/UPDATED REVIEW: I have lived in this complex for 2 years. The complex was really great under the previous property management. About 6-7 months ago, we were acquired by new property management and since then it's been down hill. You will pay a $15 valet trash fee, only for your trash to not get picked up for days on end. You will have items stolen out of the mailroom. Your guests will have their car broken into. This is just the reality of the situation. The actual units are nice & the location is VERY convenient. But paying for trash pickup & having it ignored, stolen packages, and car break-ins are my deal breaker. I will not be renewing my lease."
"Great property and staff! I signed a lease and everything went pleasant. The leasing agent Kayla was outstanding with staying on my files. James the assistant manager was awesome as well, kept me update on my amounts for move-in and informed me if it change or not. This amazing team lead by a wonderful property manager Mr. Walker! Him and his staff welcomed me with open arms to my new home."
