"Very unhappy with treatment from the Legacy at Walton Ridge staff. I put in an application in May 2023. paid $26.00 for the application fee. They insisted I do so, as I was told that there was 3 year waiting list and the only way to be considered was to pay the application fee; so I could be placed on that list. I called today Nov 27, 2023, to get an update on how far I had advanced on the list, only to be told that they no longer have a list and my app was cancelled after 120 days. How am I supposed to know you cancel apps after 120 days??? and how was I supposed to know that corporate got rid of the waiting list, you never informed me??Then I was told, maybe I should have called every week to see where I was on the list. So, let me get this straight.. You tell me there is a 3 year waiting list, then expect me to call every week for three years to check on my application? 52 weeks in a year times 3 years equals 156 calls I am expected to make, while you keep my application fee with NO notification that after 120 days I will be removed? Then I was told they get about 800 applications a week, which equals approx., $21, 000 a week just in application fees! And, they stated, they don't have time to notify everyone about their application. Well, what is the money for if you don't have any responsibility to perform a service for the money??? As a senior, I feel abused, mistreated and misinformed. And when I called to discuss what happened, the person who answered the phone hung up on me "Courtney" They took my money, never informed me of anything, then tried to flip the script and responsibility to me for not notifying me. Senior should not be dismissed and robbed with no consequence. Seems like there needs to be an investigation as to how much money is being made in application fees with no work being done on the application! Maybe class action?"
"The community is great however, management is very poor. Ever since Katie and her crew left management has been very poor. I’m currently trying to terminate my lease and it has been very difficult with communicating or getting someone to respond in the leasing office. Getting clarity about termination fees as well as other fees in the process for early termination has been worse than pulling teeth. I feel as if they’re adding additional fees on, but I digress. I haven’t had any issues with maintenance or residence , or the community, but it’s been a lot of conflict between the property manager and I. I don’t want to pull the race car, but you know…. I don’t think she’s too fond of POC. Nonetheless, contacting corporate about your issues at the property would definitely NOT make a difference because in their eyes, Kristie Creener can do no wrong. As stated before the property is great, the living experience was awesome, however, that management in the office is completely horrible."
"I really love it here. I have had nothing but great experiences with everyone in the office. Live here if you want a leasing office that actually cares about you and your well-being. I love the community here and I love everything around it. If you love nature and being treated with kindness and respect, this is the place for you. We plan to live here until we buy a house and we will be sad to leave"
"I have been asking them to pay me back for my belongings since April 27 of 2022. And have been getting the run around every since. My 2 boxes of blank T-shirts and one Att Modem. Plus my Wooden table that was damaged in this renovation to be fix. I have talked to management left messages and no one gets back to me in a timely manner it's very frustrating. The management team has no respect for your belongings or safety on this property. Or they would not have hired thieves to move your belongings in their renovation. As long as it does not affect their bottom line they do not care. Please see my review on Georgia Home Movers in Marietta GA. On more details on how Waltons will treat their residential. Response to OWNER. My table is still broken and has been since April. Plus I've given all receipts of the missing items to Walton Ridenour Communities leasing office with Robyn. And still haven't been informed of my Reimbursement. I have tried to work together with this leasing office Numerous times to resolve this matter. And they keep brushing me off. So please don't tell me you're trying to work diligently to help this matter because that is not the case. Meanwhile my table is still broke since April and the items that cost me money are still missing."
