The Scene at Sand Hill

"do NOT move here please if you’re a parent considering here for your child just don’t I’ve stayed here since second semester freshman year and it’s been pure h3ll. Management sucks the property is filthy and unsafe. They simply do not care about the students who live there and your rent price magically goes up every time you pay it ?. My windows has been broken since August of 2023 and still not fixed so I decided to move out yesterday I cannot live somewhere it’s not safe. The roommate paring system is horrible they will place you with anyone and won’t care when you have problems with roommates and say “ you’re adults y’all should be able to handle it “. It’s pure insanity they let students from the university who don’t reside there come and destroy property without any repercussions. Nobody answers the phone or emails back. But they want rent paid on time and oh let’s not talk about how there are people living there for free!!! And people having friends stay in empty rooms……. 0/10 DO NOT MOVE HERE IM WARNING YOU"

"Too expensive for what you get. My first impression was OMG. There was trash in the parking lot, trash in the laundry room, trash down the stairs, broken glass in the hallways, and food splattered up against the wall. We were in between a rock and a hard place with no housing for my daughter and I RELUCTANTLY moved forward with the lease. My son is in college and lived in a downtown Atlanta housing with utilities included for $20 less than this place. This is important to say because in Albany compared to Atlanta feels like the students are being robbed!!! AND there is no elevator;-( When we moved her in on the top level we had to walk the stairs to move her in. I DON'T RECOMMEND THIS PLACED AT ALL! I told my daughter that when the lease is up she is out! We are paying WAYYYYY to much for student housing in ALBANY, GA and I think they know this!!!! P.S. Don't rely on the photos, these photos must've been taken when these were first built. Looks NOTHING like this now;-("

"I have been trying to contact the office manager Cami for weeks about some serious concerns. I have not got a call back yet, but you called me quickly to tell me my daughter hadn't paid her rent. If something happens to my child or her roommate due to your lack of security, it will be a price to pay. I have never seen a person that is never in the office, and the students working in the office bless their hearts don't have a clue! CAMI if I don't get a call back then we will take it further!"

"The approval process and move in was pretty smooth. But that trash problem has got to be solved. It takes away from the whole aesthetic of the apartment complex. I almost went and got some trash bags to start picking up some of the trash. At least the front of building should look presentable."

"I absolutely love the management staff here. Cami has always been so pleasant to talk to and she means business when it comes her property and her students. Out of all the student housing options in Albany, this place is at the top of the list. Always clean and well kept! Thank the staff for me. ❤️"
