"have no problems with the unit or the staff at all! but i got locked out of my door with my dog inside and a candle on and called the emergency number and they couldn’t get in contact all night with maintenance to let me in .. there was nobody else i could contact and will have to wait til the office opens the next day .. would recommend to them they get on call maintenance to actually answer as this was a extreme safety hazard"
"I do not recommend Forum to any college student in Tallahassee. The model unit and what you will receive is completely different. First off, the walls are as thin as paper. You will be able to hear everything going in the unit above you. EVERYTHING. Which has made sleeping in this apartment living hell. We received a ripped up couch that has yet to be replaced. Our electricity randomly turns off every 2 weeks sometimes in the middle of the night. The door is so loose that when next door neighbors open/shut their doors it makes our door jump and sound like someone is coming into our apartment. They have yet to ever fix our main complaints. Management does not handle their jobs at all. If you do end up signing the lease request to live on the top floor and hope they don't give you a roach infested apartment."
"i really like the pool and gym at the forum. its pretty mid as far as the units go. not the best but definitely not the worst in tally. the office is pretty responsive. always ask for Mariah if she’s available! she helped my mom when we came to tour & so far she’s always been quick to assist me."
"Update: 4 MONTHS after move-in there are still NO Bathroom cabinet Doors, No vent covers. Mold was discovered after 3 months of complaints. Tenants were asked to move to another unit for a week while they were supposed do a mold treatment. One month later tenants were still not allowed to move back to their unit, because the kitchen cabinets were removed and not put back, no one was working in the unit for a few weeks. No one cared. The kitchen cabinets were installed next day after the attorney got involved. But there are still no bathroom cabinets doors! The new General manager Whitney Mack has stopped responding to our emails and phone calls. Seems like even the manager was replaced this complex still a mess. Update: 5 weeks after move-in and not much has been done! Only empty promises ! No one cares! Absolutely unacceptable! The window is still cracked and latches on window are still missing, apartment is on the ground floor! Bathroom cabinet doors are still missing, knobs on the kitchen cabinets are still missing, closet doors are still missing, a/c register in bathroom is still missing, dresser is still missing, the dishwasher has never been repaired and now the mold formed in the cabinet next to it. One of the ceiling light shade is still missing. Maintenance request has been canceled with no explanation. No one from office contacted us regarding repairs. Awful management! Previous post from Sept. 13: Apartments must be inspected by the management and brought to the livable condition prior to move-in. It's solely responsibilities of the management. The unit my daughter moved-in was literally trashed, and 4 weeks later is still in unacceptable condition. The answer from the management "we get it fixed when we get a chance" is not acceptable! The complaint was submitted to the office on August 18, 2023, today is September 13, and nothing was done! Only empty promises. Horrible management, awful place for students to live in!"
"Don’t consider renting at Forum! My daughter moved in on August 18, 2023 to Forum Apartment complex. The apartment was absolutely disgusting! Dirty, missing cabinet doors in kitchen and bathrooms, missing furniture, no tv set, no desk chair, no dresser. A few electric outlets don’t work. Cracked window, no latches on windows, no cabinet knobs, hanging wires, leaking sink, no HVAC registers, and many other problems. It’s been three weeks and nothing has been done. Management hasn’t been cooperating and seems like they don’t care at all. Manager Victoria is rude and unreliable. We sent numerous complaints but nobody in office returns any calls, no one responds to emails. Complete ignorance. Absolutely unacceptable!"
