"Maintenance is non existent. Original "renovations" were done so poorly, there is always something wrong. IF maintenance comes, and that's a big if, the problem is just given a band-aid not properly fixed."

"As a current resident of 10+ years, I've seen just about all there is to see at this complex. I just relocated to another city (2 weeks now), but felt the need to share my experience and perspective. This property was previously named "Whispering Woods" and had been under that name for decades. Over my 10 year span I will say it's been a Rollercoaster of a ride. I've seen ownership and management change hands a few times (5 or more). Some were ok and others not so much, as you can see by the reviews. Maintenance was always hit or miss...more miss than hit. The amenities advertised have only worked maybe 3 or 4 yrs of my 10yr span there. Now that the not so good stuff is out in the open, I do want to be transparent with anyone reading this....NO PROPERTY IS PERFECT! I wouldn't have lived there for 10yrs if it was such a horrible place to leave and raise kids. Yes, it's work that's needed but it's a wonderful side of town, the apartments are spacious and most importantly the NEW staff is actually making things turn around for the better!! I'm so happy to see they've installed a new laundry facility, a working payment portal to pay rent easily, the Property Manager Mrs. Sharon actually communicates with residents and sends email bulletins and reminders! The site manager (Tawana) is very helpful and works closely with Sharon to make sure things are on the up and up! I can actually say that I've seen much progress and a sense of pride in the job/work being done. Did I mention, the new staff are actually working on the pool!! Haven't been able to swim or use the pool in over 5 yrs. Maintenance is also much more responsive and working their tickets consistently. The property is only going to be as good as its staff/ownership....I truly believe if this staff stays intact, the property will make a turn for the best. I'd definitely recommend this location to anyone looking for space, privacy, convenience of location and now a great manager and staff. Don't be put off by all the negative reviews...sometimes you have to do your own research/homework and take a look. Go check them out...renovations are underway and units available. Just be sure to ask for Tawana or Sharon....they are very good people and care about your concerns. Couri J"

"Edit: 3 months later and we still haven’t heard back about a single maintenance issue. If I could give zero stars I would. This place has been a nightmare since the day we moved in and has only gotten worse. The owners are slum lords and do not care about the safety of their tenants."

"Please don’t ever move to these apartments. My husband and I have been here since March 2022 and it had only gone downhill from there. Almost all the community amenities don’t work. There is no manager on our property, so you have to hunt down other leasing managers all across town. They never answer the phone, but are always quick to ask for rent. They’ve even gone as far as ask for rent while having outstanding maintenance issues for MONTHS. We got one of the “upgraded” units, but thats being generous. Our first month, our apartment was broken into and our personal electronics were stolen. Our AC continues to leaks water THROUGH AN ELECTRICAL SOCKET so we haven’t been able to turn on our AC this entire summer. We’ve had the same problem since last year, but it’s still broken. Our drain for our bathtub doesn’t work properly, so every time we shower the water collects at our feet. Our dishwasher also leaks water, so we’ve had to hand wash all dishes. Management does not communicate AT ALL until you threaten to go to corporate. No matter how much you beg plead, all requests for maintenance or communication are ignored. As soon as our lease is up, we’re leaving and never coming back."
