"What do you pay $1800 in rent for? Black mold, roaches, shared water heater (with 10 other 3 bedroom units), mice, mountains of garbage, trash all over the complex, neighbors that scream at 4 AM, crooked outlets, water to be shut off for 24-48 hours."
"I just recently moved in and so far so good!!! I was especially pleased with Yunet!!! She is awesome, pleasant and delightful!!! She is the only one in the office that is polite and professional! She always greets everyone with a smile and she greets me by name. The other ladies including the office manager can learn a lot from her!"
"The leasing staff at this complex is awesome. Upon applying, I experienced issues with the third party screening company used for their applications. I went into the office and explained the entire situation to Greyling and she worked with me, and was able to get me approved for an apartment. The application and move in process has been smooth so far, and I look forward to living here. If I could give the leasing staff more than 5 stars, I would. I have lived in a few apartments throughout my adult life and have never had the pleasure of dealing with a leasing staff this great before."
"I moved here when I was 8 yrs old in 1990. Lived there until 1998. It was called Overlook Bay. We used to sit on the arch rock. If you drive all the way to the back of the neighborhood there is a cul de dac with a wall and a middle section with circle. We played baseball (with a tennis ball) in that street. The batter would stand at the wall and pitcher at the circle. The wall was the catcher so we'd throw the tennis ball as hard as we could to strike the batter out. I remember hitting so many homeruns I'd crush on top of the roof and over. We lost so many tennis balls back there. Up atop that wall the trees grew granny smith apples. We'd eat the hell out of those unripped apple. There were also blackberry bushes. I remember another kid mom who worked at the newly remodeled clubhouse would make blackberry pie We loved that Olympic pool. I once was standing in the bushes trying to sneak on my friends one summer morning when a bunch of yellow jackets got me. I was standing on the nest...Got stung so bad I ran out and jumped into the pool. And finally there was the field. Our Sandlot, our stadium. We played baseball literally all day during the summers from '90-'93. Eventually friends got older, parents were more mature and started moving out and moving into houses. Neighborhood was changing. More kids from different cities came in. I got older, met newer kids, more fights but boys will be boys. Overlook Bay in the late 80s and early 90s was special. White kids loved black kids moms fried chicken and the black kids love the white kids moms pies and cheese eggs. What a time to be alive! I am 41 now and took my 8 year old there to our sandlot to play catch. It was surreal looking back into yourself. Field was huge when I was 8! I hate they took the baseball backstop fence away but at least the field is still there."
"Recently it has been hot upstairs. I sent a request to get the ac Unit checked to management and requested a ceiling fan for my room as well. The request was taken care of the same day!! Also, I had an old light fixture from the former tenant, I had been trying to get switched out for quite some time now. I requested it to be replaced and it was done the very next day!!! All of the other leasing companies ( there were a few) ignored my requests. Thanks Fields @ PTC/Balfour for the speedy response! My room is very comfortable and the fixture is very nice and stylish!!! See the difference!!!Yayyyyy!!"
