"I lived at Bass Lofts for the last two years and I had nothing but an amazing experience. My first year, I lived in an outer unit of the gym building, which was a great space, but a little dark (I was on the back side). I didn't really know many of my neighbors either. My second year, I transferred units into the auditorium area, where I had a loft with stairs and 1.5 baths and incredible light. All the classroom units have a ton of sunlight. In the main classroom building, I met more neighbors and made some great friends while living here. There's unbeatable character to living in a repurposed school, won't find many places with comparable rent and amenities in Atlanta. Christian and Shawn in the office were my favorite. They're very timely to respond to any concerns, maintenance requests, etc. Super accommodating. Best apartment experience I've ever had by far."
"I've lived at Bass Lofts for almost 2 years, and I wouldn't be leaving if I weren't moving out of state. It has been 5 years since I've lived another apartment, so I don't have a lot to compare to, but my experience here has been nothing short of exceptional. The maintenance staff is super friendly and are quick to respond."
"Do not stay here if you can avoid it. Moved to this apartment in less than a year got my electric bike stolen from inside the building, management did little to nothing to help. I had to make a police report on my own. Two months later my car and about a few others were broken into, windows busted and all. It does not feel safe at all. The front gate is always opened and sometimes random people are just able to get into the building. Will be moving asap. And price is too high for the older apartment, stained windows, ants and lady bug infestation. I have never written a bad review before for any apartment, but I just want to warn people of what you are getting into. They do not value residence safety. I was also told my tenants had been held at gun point robbery in the past in the parking lot. There are no cameras in the parking and anyone can get into the building. ** leaving a reply with a number that is out of service is exactly my point. This place puts profit before people"
"Would recommend living anywhere BUT here. Reasons as follows: 1. Mid-March through April 2023 we had issues with water entering our apartment repeatedly and at several points of entry. When asked for resolution, we were astounded by the lack of caring and lack of offering of a serious resolution. We were even told that for the damage of our own one-of-a-kind goods, we should use our own renters insurance (instead of them being held accountable for their negligence). 2. When we moved in, the place was absolutely FILTHY. I've never seen an apartment left in such condition and there was a thick layer of dust on every ceiling fan that we had to request multiple times to be cleaned. There was also a broken window that we had to remind them to repair for a month. 3. We lived in the gym building and you can hear EVERYTHING between those walls. So all screaming children, parties, etc. disturb the peace. 4. The upkeep of the old buildings (particularly the gym) is a mess. We were locked into our apartment one morning because the handle broke. There was no other way to exit, which could have been a serious emergency. On that note, their "emergency" response window was never actually achieved and we would wait hours for responses. 5. Several times we did not have packages delivered because nobody was onsite to buzz them in. My understanding is there was a set schedule for front desk staff, but there were several instances where they were not present in those hours. The list goes on, but living here was one problem after another. When things were escalated in the management company to the regional level, the lack of compassion for tenants was even more astonishing."
"I took a tour of Bass Lofts Apartments. It is an unique community in the heart of Little 5 Points. The leasing manager, Christian was awesome. He showed us a unit that was beautiful. It had modern amenities with an old-school charm. The community also comes with great amenities, and a personal feel. It is something you must see."
