"This is not the place to live. The leasing office isn't helpful. The first apartment they tried to put me in was infested with roaches. They charge you monthly for pest control and no one has ever come to spray. I submitted a work order more then 3 times about my stove not working before they replaced it. I had a package stolen from my doorstep. I showed them the video of the theft to see if they knew the individual and all they could say is that they aren't responsible for stolen packages. The trash piles up at the dumpster for days before they have it removed."
"I have lived here for years (life issues kept me here) and the property has gotten progressively worse. 1. They no longer offer existing residents a better rate. When you renew it will be what they are offering people who walk off the street. They will also numerous issues with unwarranted charges. 2. The people on the property are getting progressively worse. Noisy, trash littering, pet waste everywhere. 3. There is a sinkhole forming in the middle of the property that they keep ignoring and tried to fill with dirt. 4. Amenities are practically useless. Tennis court… messy. Pool… always collided for repair or fill with loud ppl or kids (some that don’t even live here. Kids will come from other properties up the road). Gate… broken 70% of the year. 5. The staff has gotten horrible. When I moved in the people were so pleasant. Whenever some one good comes they get promoted to a better location. If I knew then what I know now… I would’ve picked a different complex. The area has so many better options."
"One the the worst apartment complexes I have ever lived in... unless the managment changes (Currently IRT) do NOT move here. They are infested with Roaches."
"This place is old, trash is everywhere, dog poop everywhere, people are loud and dirty, an insane amount of inspections done a year, amenities that are not well kept, the list goes on. Oh and cockroaches, gnats, mosquitoes, ants everywhere. Goes hand in hand with all the trash. For $1500 a month you can find a nicer place within 5 min from this place. Edit: That number they put in the comment below is their front office. Many people have commented about the rude staff so what’s the point if it just takes you to their front office and the rude people pick up. There are two women there in particular ive spoken to that have given me a lot of attitude in the past."
"In short, I would highly suggest looking elsewhere for a living arrangement . I moved into my apartment in August of 2016 and have continued to experience problem after problem. The biggest issue I have with this place is the maintenance men that work here. They are completely incompetent. We have been having a black mold problem, and we reported it to them on a day they were inspecting our apartment. We then heard nothing back for two weeks so we told Tracy at leasing office who proceeded to get them to fix it that day. The man that was sent then sprayed bleach on part of the area that had mold and then left without inspecting anything else. We were also told that he was going to seal our windows, which was contributing to the mold problem, but that still has not happened to this day. He even told my roommate and I that this building has had black mold problems in the past, yet no one has done anything about it. We have also been having drainage problems with our dishwasher that we have called about three separate times. Each time they said stop using this soap and pointed at our hand soap instead of actually looking at the dishwasher. We then told them we do not even use the dishwasher, let alone hand soap, but they still did nothing and left each time. The last contact we had with them was over a leaky roof that was flooding our water heater room. The maintenance man that was sent went up stairs and turned off the leak that they left on and then left the flooded room the way it was, again without inspecting the damage that the inch of water on the floor could have caused. Another big problem I have had with this is place is how they charge for water. According to the front office, the water meters are broken so the water for the entire complex is added up and divided EQULLY among everyone. For example, I live in a two bedroom, two bathroom apartment with two other people. We all are college students and two of us work so we are not here all that much, yet we typically have to pay a $120 water bill along with our rent. This would not be that terrible, but the thing is there are also 3 bed and bath apartments that obviously use up much more water than we do. This means we have to pay for theirs as well! I can't even imagine how awful it must be for the one bedroom apartments... The only reason I am giving a two star review is because the staff is wonderful. Even after moving in here they have continued to show me nothing but kindness, respect, and willingness to help if I ever do need anything. Unfortunately, this does not mean that much when the maintenance staff and business practices are as terrible as they are. There are also certain things the office staff and property manager are refusing to help with. Going back to the water situation, we talked with the property manager in person one day. She told us that many other tenants have also complained about the water, yet it does not seem like she is doing anything. She gave us a number to complain to the Venterra Company but the number is not useable. It is just an automated line that you give your email to and they will supposedly get back to you. That was about 3 months ago now and I have heard nothing. I think the biggest problem is they try to run everything as cheaply as possible. That would explain why the maintenance here is so bad, and why no wants to fix the problems the complex has. I have included pictures of the massive amounts of moisture that seep into our apartment because the windows are not properly sealed. We have to clean it once a day it is that bad. If you look closely, you can see the holes in the in the tops of the windows where water is coming in. I have also included pictures of the black mold that we have to clean every week to two weeks. The maintenance man told us that it is our problem the one time he did come to wipe it off with some bleach, so that is why it continues to grow."
