"I’m posting this in an effort to encourage, and congratulate Patricia, Sam, and team at the leasing office. When I first came here over 10 years ago, it was a very nice community, quiet, lots of diversity, and everything was clean, and well maintained. A few years later the complex switched owners, and it began to go downhill with people trashing the place, loud music blasting, dog poop everywhere ect. However since Wendy took over as manager things have improved immensely, and I’m very pleased with the progress. They have taken the time to handle some noise complaints from me with patience, and a real desire to help, and improve quality of life here at 1401. Now Patricia, and Sam have taken over her post and have continued to make improvements! Thanks so much"

"Since moving into the apartment community last summer, my husband and I have experienced nothing short of exceptional service and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Under the management of Patricia, we noticed a remarkable improvement in both the appearance of the community and the level of customer service . The spacious apartments provide a comfortable living environment, and the regular events organized by the office staff add a delightful touch to our experience. We have had the pleasure of getting to know some wonderful neighbors, making our time here truly enjoyable. It's a pleasure to call this community home."

"New update: There is a new manager, Wendy, and they have been making improvements. Still a little slow on maintenance, but I see they’re actively trying. Old review: The only reason this place gets two stars is because of the location . This place has unresponsive management, poor preventative maintenance, the maintenance team is nice but it seems like they aren’t given the tools need to make the property great. There is rusting paint, the fountain has rusted and the pipes broke(not maintained correctly), grading issues with standing water everywhere when it rains; especially in the stairwells and elevators. Oh and don’t live on an upper floor unless you want to walk because their newly renovated elevators will flood. They could use a good groundskeeper as well. The dumpsters are also gone for extended periods of time without notification. Communication is poor in regard to long-term service issues at the property. At this time, customer service is subpar and they don’t seem to care about fixing it. The Property Manager will dodge you if he doesn’t want to talk to you. They rarely answer the phone in the leasing office and when they do they always tell you that there is nothing they can do because they don’t run anything. How can you ever get an answer if the Property Manager avoids you? The leasing agents need better training in what to say to paying customers. Also, there is a pretty bad traffic issue in the mornings due to the stop sign at the end of the street once you exit the property. It seems like the neighborhood next to us pays for police officers who allow them all to go first and we have to wait in a long like to even get to the light. I’ve waited 20 minutes in the morning at one light due to this issue. Just plan to leave earlier than expected even though the location is great. I just recently moved to a new unit and I had a major issue and no one really will speak to me. My unit was not inspected beforehand, it was dirty and there were obvious things that should have been done that were left undone. Now for the good, my maintenance requests are usually not frequent, they have a quick 1-2 day turnaround for maintenance issues, the parking is plentiful and it is covered. The new pool is nice and the fitness center is as well(nasty residents though). When I moved here, there is a great team in place, but it has degraded over time. Property walk-thrus and proper inspections go a long way and could solve a lot of deferred maintenance issues. People stay here for the location only, but with better management and oversight, the property could be great."

"I’ve lived here for 2 years now, moved in the scariest times during a pandemic and the management was exceptional! Maintenance was exceptional! However, now in 2022 this is the worst staff I’ve ever dealt with! I guess all the good managers (Angel & Stacey) have moved up in the world and what we’re left with is trash! Everyone has a nasty attitude and condescending tone! Especially the manager Wendy and the girl with short nappy hair and glasses! The elevator has been down for 4 days meanwhile rent went up by $300 + it’s just ridiculous! I would not recommend moving here! Pics coming soon! I don’t believe you because I called and spoke with DESIREE about some concerns, she proceeded with an attitude then hung up in my face, I called back and no one would answer the phone! So please don’t give a generic response without any action!"
