"Lol Valerie is the worse!!! Someone mentioned she/he engages in unethical business practices, which is 100% spot on!! Another review mentioned she liked dealing with the "challenged" for they are easily controlled/intimidated, this also is true. But tough times don't last always, and karma has no time limit Valerie lol."
"i fell on hard times and ended up living here for 5 years. i definitely have mixed feelings about the place,,the location is convenient, quiet, and safe. Neighbors are wholesome and there;s an overall loving community vibe i got here. however, the maintenance and management departments definitely need improvement on their customer service skills and improvement on actually doing their job description. I was very young and passive when I moved here and I felt the property manager sometimes tried to use that to her advantage. I was once threatened to be evicted over a maintenance issue that was their fault. They said we were runnin water and it was flooding the downstairs apartments...all me and my father were doing was taking showers regularly. Maintenance came to fix the problem 4 times. They kept doing temporary fixes until it got really bad."
"The "landlord" Valerie Neil has HORRIBLE customer service, sneaky unethical practices and a pathetic worth ethic. She is a rude and does NOT handle the concerns of the tenants until it's a major problem and then she half asses it. From the code violations to the unprofessional staff, of what seems to be her personal "homies," this place is a trap! The police are there often, the maintenance men don't actually fix anything and she is barely in the office. We had a mold problem and all she did was paint over it and it got worse. She never actually fixes anything just rigs it's enough to her satisfaction. Everything is rigged and she cuts so many corners that I'm sure that if it were to be inspected it would be condemned. She prefers tenants who are in tough situations or of "lower class" because they are easier to control. It really sucks because the location is amazing and convenient but the actual Apartment complex brings the value of the Hapeville down tremendously. I would recommend this place if your only other option is homelessness! I wonder if the actual owner knows that this place is being run like a "trap house." The 5 star reviews are fake, notice they have no comments attached to them. Also I find it extremely strange that she is the ONLY one who works in the office... For the two years I was there... Checks and balances? Something foul is going on."
