"This was our second visit at the Knotty Bear and we were just as happy this time as we were last. We always have such a great time and loooove the cozy atmosphere of the cabin. We LOVE the view. A huge plus for us specifically having toddlers is that the smoke detectors also have carbon monoxide sensors which isn’t normally required unless they have a gas stove. That always gives us such peace of mind when having our fire as the kids sleep. I always miss drinking my coffee watching the sun rise over the mountains and listening to the birds in the morning. There were so many yummy places to eat. We went to Southern Charm which is always an favorite and Rib Country. Rib country was very sweet with our two toddlers letting them dance around. The playground in downtown Valdosta was PERFECT and only 15 minutes away. They had a side specifically for smaller kids which was so nice. Overall we really enjoyed the peaceful views and yummy food! Will be coming back for sure."

"What an absolutely beautiful cabin and location. My wife and I celebrated our 33rd anniversary here. The perfect place to forget about the hectic pace of life and recharge your batteries. The mornings of coffee and sitting on the porch just looking at nature and the spectacular Mountain View can not be matched. The cabin was super clean and has every amenity we needed. We are already figuring out our next trip to Knotty Bear. It has become our new “go to” for peace and serenity."

"This is a wonderful, cozy vacation spot. The cabin is perfect down to every detail. It is immaculately clean, beautifully decorated, comfortable for a couple or 2 couples or even a family! The hot tub under the stars on the balcony is the icing on the cake. The surrounding area is beautiful; you will spot some deer! Blue Ridge has nice shopping and dining and the natural beauty of the area with hiking trails and waterfalls galore is unequaled. GO!!"

"Not enough stars for our stay at Knotty Bear! What a gorgeous place! Stunning views and first class accommodations. My wife and I could not have been more pleased, and we can't wait to go back. We really loved sitting out back on the deck, and the cabin is truly magazine-worthy: brand new and beautifully decorated. The family room with the fireplace and TV is warm and cozy, the kitchen is well-equipped, and waking up each morning in that luxurious suite upstairs was a real treat. And the hot tub was fantastic - icing on the cake! We also loved the proximity to Blue Ridge, with its quaint shops and wonderful restaurants, and being able to go hiking and sight-seeing as well. Fabulous trip to a phenomenal spot!"

"Knotty Bear cabin BLEW OUR MINDS! Situated on top of a mountain, our stunning views of the clouds and trees filled our souls. The layout of the newly new cabin was perfect, allowing the other couple (and us) complete privacy! After a long day hiking to waterfalls and lounging in cool mountain lakes, we gently feel asleep on the most comfortable beds imaginable! Mornings on the twin decks sipping coffee was transcendental. We opted for the hot tub most days and forgot about the world around us. The convenience of nearby restaurants and shops was a bonus, and an occasional homemade meal in the cabin's spacious kitchen kept us on budget. Knotty Bears location, decor, functionality, comfort and spectacular views make it the best VALUE we've ever experienced - at any price! We can't wait to escape to the woods again! Knotty Bear style!"
