"I called Sunday night due to not having hot water, the maintenance guy told me to check the breaker I did and said ok I’ll see if this works. I called the after hrs number right back IMMEDIATELY and told them it didn’t work and I needed someone out ASAP!! NO ONE EVER SHOWED UP!!!! I had to boil hot water just to be able to clean my body! I AM BEYOND ANGRY WITH THE NEGLECT, DISRESPECT, AND LIES I CONSTANTLY GET FED!! I HAD A MAJOR SURGERY ON FRIDAY, so to be WITHOUT HOT WATER is was an awful experience for me!! I kept record of the times I’ve called you all, emailed you all and it all be ignored!! I try to be a good and respectful tenant, but it has gotten me NOWHERE! Tonight my hot water has went out again, and due to past emergency maintenance calls, or needing the courtesy officer to come out and being ignored I just asked what’s the point!! I still have yet to even hear from you about an email I sent you months ago!!"
"18 years of living here says a lot about my satisfaction. Ridenour has felt like I am living in the middle of a beautiful park. I have confidence in our community staff and believe Walton Communities cares about my family."
"Be warned if you get a section 8 voucher, they will not honor it if you do not make 1.5x the rent. So for 1 bedroom, the minimum income is $18,792, and a 2 bedroom has a minimum of $22,572 yearly incom. This means that if you make that much money to begin with, you probably will not qualify for section 8. So as a low income person or family, they will take your money for application fees and deposit despite all the claims about God and how family oriented they are on the website. All claims to be helping low income families or a low income community seem to be false. Since you can't be too poor even if you have government aid paying the rent. So low income unless you make less than $18k type of low income."
"If I could give this place no stars I would. I fell in love with the apartment complex the minute I saw it BUT as far as the office staff, nasty attitude!!!!!!!! The staff is full of women who clearly are not trained or updated on their policy. I was given the runaround after speaking with Makayla. She told me only one person can apply to an available apartment. Once that person applied no one else can apply. That’s usually the case when you’re dealing with market rate apartments but this is affordable housing rates so I was told it’s a different process. After speaking to Makayla I called the next day to check the status of that apartment to see if the applicant was approved & if the apartment was available per online. I spoke to Allison who told me to go ahead & apply because they already have 2 applicants. How is this the case when Makayla just told me I can’t apply. That day I tried to apply spoke to Robin. Robin told me since I applied at their sister company they can override the $13 application fee bc paying that will cause the system to do another screening on me while also pulling my credit. She told me wait 24hrs once they get the screening from the other company, but when I started asking more questions she tried to handle me like a child telling me I have to be patient. I’m 26 years old & a lot of people get me confused with a teenager bc my voice is extremely light..every time I called in I was told different information. One of the employees told me they have a call center who probably gave me misleading information so afterwards every time i called in to get information I had to ask if it’s the actual office & can I get the person I’m talking to name. Due to the fact I kept getting the runaround I would always ask to speak to Robin since she is the manager I would think she’d know their policy. Robin was just as bad. Every time i spoke to her I addressed her as Ms. Robin meanwhile she’s just addressing me as Jasmine, no type of respect or anything. It got to a point where she got mad at me for questioning what she told me the day prior to me applying bc she reneged on what she said. How can you get mad at an applicant for trying to make sure they get the correct information because every time they call it’s something different. Literally every time I called they’ll tell me they updated their protocol. That was also Robin’s excuse as well. Anybody would request to speak to a manager when they’re being told different information when they call so Robin should not have gotten mad just bc I requested her to confirm what I’m being told. That’s her job. If she don’t like it work somewhere else. The last day I spoke to Robin I requested to have corporate’s number. I spoke to an Andrea who tried to help me but that wasn’t any help bc I felt like she was nonchalant about my whole experience. It was as if Robin called to tell her I’ve been calling but didn’t explain why I’ve been calling so much. If everyone in that office were trained & knew the new protocol & stopped changing things every week then ppl wouldn’t have to keep calling to verify information. Andrea from corporate called me back while I was otp w/ Robin so i told Robin to hold on I’ll call her back bc I have to switch lines. Before swapping the call I hear Robin say “no Jasmine it’s not necessary for you to call me back” every time I spoke to Robin she was short w/ me, spoke to me as if I was a child, & didn’t want to be bothered. Like I said I’m 26 years old w/ 2 kids. I’m far from a child. Her whole vibe was off. When the manager is nasty to ppl & act like she doesn’t care then the whole team will follow along. I believe the manager set the tone in the workplace for their employees bc they literally are an example, therefore need to lead as one. After my experience w/ this complex I won’t rent here until it’s under new management & the employees have better attitude. I spoke to every female there w/ respect even when they became short w/ me for asking questions. If you’re dealing w/ tenants/ applicants all day that’s just what comes w/ the job!!!"
"To make a long story short. I regret ever moving here.. my Apartment has been vandalized more than once. I've been taking advantage of by the leasing office manager. More than once.! They have damaged my items more than once and refused to fully pay for them. The manager is very nasty and rude especially when they know they owe you something. They expect you to be nice to them when they are rude and Unprofessional. This place is a living nightmare. Please understand everything that glitter isn't gold. And you will surely find that out living in Walton apartment complex. To the response of owner.. We can discuss it after your company pays me for my missing items and the damage to my table is paid in full."
