U Club on Frey

"Ms. Alicia McGee made me and my sons Leasing Experience so Welcoming. As soon as we walked in the Leasing Office she greeted us with a huge smile and professionalism. We toured several other Student Housing but after dealing with Ms. McGee it seems that this was definitely home for my son!"

"Do not live here. The only good reviews are from tours. Management is awful at resolving issues and extremely unhelpful, it took 6 months to get one issue resolved. You're better of renting a house with some friends for much cheaper and an actual liveable living situation. The wifi constantly goes out, several apartments have busted pipes despite dripping the faucets over night. They clear cut cost on construction with how poorly the apartments are made. Do not live here."

"U club on Frey is genuinely the worst place to live. All the good reviews are from people that had the tour and haven’t actually experienced living here. It’s overpriced, people don’t pick up after their dogs, the dryer doesn’t work properly, there’s several cockroaches, the internet is constantly going out, and I’m constantly given random ridiculous charges. I’ve been trying to get out of my lease since the beginning of the lease and I’m still stuck. They’re money hungry and honestly you’d be better off living in a box than here. I feel bad for those that signed the lease for the upcoming year."

"THIS PLACE IS TRASH RUN FAR FAR AWAY Roaches, leaking ceiling, and over priced. Now my daughters ac has been out for a week. They have been submitting tickets as requested. No one in the complex cares. Just absolute trash. Month later AC still not working correctly, dryer not working correctly and now because the appliances are not working as they should they are trying to charge them an extra fee on their bill for excessive power use. My wife has called in multiple times. I see your response Rachel and will pass your info to her as she continues to address this. Update - After multiple calls they have finally addressed the AC, and appliances. Update - Dec, 17 2023 - Still have not been able to resolve insurance issue. My daughter has correct insurance and yet they are charging her extra fees every month. Rachel who posted earlier offering to help has been useless. This place is just awful."

"Twice as expensive as it should be. There has not been a single day that has gone by without seeing several cockroaches. Everything in the apartments is either poorly made or poorly put together or both. Maintenance is a joke, it takes days to get simple repairs, if you even get them at all. The walls are thin and block out no noise. The parking gates are incredibly slow and unreliable, you have to stop your car, take the keys out, and then tap in the gate. Half the vents and lights leak water. Half the doors don’t lock, or get stuck locked. There is no grounds keeping and many people who refuse to pick up after their dogs. The ONLY good thing about U Club is the fact that you can walk to campus, which most people don’t do anyway. Avoid U Club at all costs. We have killed 200+ cockroaches in less than 2 months. I’d rather live out of my car."
