"The shop was pretty cooled... One dude cut my son’s mustache off. He said, “I didn’t know why I did it, I wasn’t thinking.” The first time my son really saw me upset....How you gonna touch a teenager’s mustache without permission.."

"Review of the barber Akeem at Primetime I came in to get my haircut at Primetime back in April 2018 and MakStyles no longer worked there (the unfortunance, as he was very helpful to an out of town visitor). He referred me to still go to the shop to a couple of other top notch barbers, but they were slammed. I saw a gentleman named Akeem sitting to my left on break and he offered to cut my hair. I got my sides and back taped and the barber claimed it was a “designer cut” and charged me $25, stating that pricing differs per barber. I told him I had been told a tape up was quoted to me around $15 and a normal haircut was posted as $20. Needless to add, the work was sub par; he did not even offer to sponge my fro or ask to add hair dress, though it was not required. He also added no parts or visual designed to the hair so I was dumbfounded by his rationale of a tape up being warranted as a “designer cut.” I believe due to the fact I mentioned in small conversation hat I was out of town and had a formidable occupation, he felt obliged to overcharged me for his 20 min tape up. He asked me to come back when I was in the area, and I kindly replied, “Don’t count on it.” Charge fairly for the work and time you put in and this simple shape up was not warranted at the price he asked for. I would not recommend that you go to this gentleman."
"Highly recommended! While visiting from out of town, we stoped by to cut my 7 year olds hair. We were greeted with smiles and felt at home right away. Edward was excellent!! He meticulously went through with the scissor and cut my son's hair. Wish we lived closer so we could come back"
"I can only speak about one of the Barbers, and what I have to say is that He was DISHONEST. There are signs all over the store that show that the business takes credit cards, but when the Barber was done with my haircut, He told me He could only take cash. Okay, no big deal. When I went to the front desk to pay, He told me we needed to head outside. When I got out there He told me it would be $20 ($20 for a Mens' cut?). Really, okay, well, I paid the man. After running some errands I realized I did not receive a receipt from Him for my business expenses. I returned to the business and asked for a receipt. ONLY at that time did the Barber admit that He had overcharged me and that his Boss had brought it to His attention because He could see him on the video monitors outside receiving a $20 bill (yeah right). He was caught in His act, and He knew it, and by that time I actually noticed the sign on the wall that stated it was $15 for a Mens cut. His story was that He thought He had shaved my beard, which would explain the extra $5. Beard? I have no Beard. In any case, I hate dishonesty. And, I cant speak for the whole Barber shop, but I can say that at least one of their Barbers is Dishonest. And for that reason I will not be returning. An honest business is good business."
