"Do not recommend. My appointment was with Dana at 9:00. I arrived at 9:06, was checked in by the receptionist and asked to take a seat. I was immediately concerned because none of the stylists were wearing their hair in a wavy, curly, kinky or coily state. All of their hair was worn straight. This put me off with Curltopia obviously being a curly hair salon (I mean, "Curl" is in the salon name!) At 9:18, Dana peeked over her station and said that she will be with me shortly. At 9:40, I was still waiting. Although I saw that there was a coffee station, I hadn't been offered water, coffee, tea or anything while waiting. At this point, there were just too many red flags. As many of us know with curly hair, we've had numerous poor salon experiences and are already nervous when trying out a new one. Although I have an event to go to later today and already paid my deposit, I felt much more comfortable walking up to the receptionist and letting her know that I needed to go. She didn't even try to persuade me to stay, just saying, "OK". An absolute complete waste of time on a Saturday morning."

"Alexis does excellent work! At my recent visit, she did my highlights and twists and my hair looks lovely! I like that she explained the coloring process, how to maintain healthy hair and answered all of my questions. I’ve been receiving compliments on my hair style and how healthy my hair looks. She does a fantastic job every time!"

"I booked an appointment over the phone and was told a cut and style would be $60. The stylist, Nova, did a dry, straight cut with no shaping or layering. I told her I wanted a similar style as shown below and the results are below as well. I was charged $125 for this service and I was not told up front that an additional $75 would be charged for this style. My daughters flat twists took no more than 10 minutes for her to complete. She spent majority of the time under the dryer and she did not wash her hair thoroughly. I am very disappointed in this service. I asked to speak with management and have yet to receive a call back."
