Torrid

"I have been a loyal Torrid customer for years, however, I will no longer be because of this store’s manager. I submitted an online order for pickup from this store, and was told that my order would not be fulfilled only after I called the store the next day to check on my order. I attempted to have a civil conversation with the manager, I believe her name was Anaya, because at the time of the call I had received emails that the order had changed and another email stating the order was ready for pickup. Nothing was ever resolved. She was very rude and accusatory during the call, and I was left shock after she hung up on me. I then called customer service to get assistance because clearly I could not have a conversation with the store manager. Customer service was really no better, which I had heard people complain about before but I never experienced it, so now I do not have the items I wanted nor my money. Beware of this store because as stated by the manager they don’t have to tell you they cancelled your order per corporate. I could have accepted the store not having my order, but the way that it was handled by both the manager and customer service was completely unprofessional."

"I usually have a good experience with all the associates at this location. However, on Saturday evening July 8th I dealt with a very rude employee. Torrid will price match online prices and I’ve had it done in this store before. When I asked the associate to match the price she initially said that they didn’t do it. I told her I was just in recently and yes, Torrid does honor online prices in store. A manager actually told me that and completed my last purchase without rudeness or attitude just a couple of weeks prior. I had 3 items and I had my phone to show her and she says to me we don’t look at your phone then proceeded to tell me she could not confirm any of the 3 items in the computer, so I had to pay the price they rang up. I literally scanned the items with my phone before the transactions and it showed significant price differences…basically she refused to honor the stores policy. She had a very nasty attitude, and made me feel so uncomfortable I told the cashier just to keep the items and that I no longer wanted them. At the end of the day, if she wouldn’t have been so rude and nasty, I probably would have still purchased the items regardless because I buy a lot from Torrid and really enjoy some of the clothes. I wish I would have gotten her name, she was an old African American woman, the other two employees were really friendly and she was even rude to her co worker at one point. It really disappoints me because I enjoy Torrids clothing but I also want to get the best deals and clearance that customers are entitled to when they are that price. Someone needs to train that woman to do better…"

"Buying bras can be a traumatic experience, but your staff made it so much better than I could ever have expected for my daughter. We left Torrid feeling happy with our bra purchases, and warm & fuzzy for the care and attention that "our girl" provided for us (happy tears all the way back to London)! Thank you from the bottom of my ❤, and we'll see you soon!"

"The employees are nice and very helpful. I took away a star because they hardly answer the phone. There's been times when I wanted to check to see if an item was in the store before I made a trip. I called several times over the course of an hour before someone finally answered. Other than that, I have no further complaints."
