"I applied for an apartment in June that had availability for July and it’s now august and I’m still not in there. It has left me and my children homeless, I was told Aug 1st for moving date and it’s the 18th. I should have been moved in before school started but now I have more on my plate then trying to leave an abusive relationship with an emergency voucher that’s going to expire before I can get in the apartment. I’m calling legal aid because this is a ridiculous way to do business."
"I would not recommend moving to Edwards Crossing in Beaver WV. I have lived there for years and if you have an issue it is not addressed like they say they will do. My three children and myself are being exposed to smells coming through the walls and vents. I have discussed this with management in person, emails, and a letter and thing has been done. I have health issues and it is causing problems. I have no screens in three of my windows that I have been asking for, for two years now, kitchen window is broken on the outside due to a BB gun and nothing has been done for it to be fixed. I can say I do not feel safe in my own home anymore. This place was wonderful when I first moved there, but not now."
"My family and I have been residents here at this complex for over a year now. We absolutely love it. We have felt safe, at home, and the environment appears very friendly. The manager is very friendly and helpful when we have needed her. There are times we have had to wait for maintenance issues but they have all been addressed. One emergency issue was responded to immediately. I wouldn’t want to have my family anywhere else."
"Management does not take care of residents as they are supposed to. A neighbors child ripped out the screens of my downstairs windows in August of this year and I turned in a formal letter of complaint and put in a work order, but still have yet to hear anything about it as of November. They did not put guttering around the back of the building so now water from rain has rotted my door and the housing around it, causing insects and even snakes and lizzards to get into my apartment, and i cannot use my door without it falling off and not being able to close. This has also caused my electric bill raise by $60 a month. A work order was filed a month ago and a complaint was made, still nothing from them. But they hound me about recertification and as soon as another resident moves out they have a new resident moved into the apartment within A WEEK. Needles have been found all over parking lots, a lot of the residents are rude and disrespectful."
"Very poor management and very poor maintenance. I have been here for several years, both of which my unit experienced an issue that was not resolved. On Christmas, my heating element in the stove unit burnt out. I called the emergency line and was told it was ”not an emergency” that I couldn't use my stove to cook. It was not an emergency that I could not cook dinner for my family, on CHRISTMAS! We had to use our own personal money to repair the stove. I have bathroom tiles that are broken and cuts my feet if I do not cover them, I have put a work order in and they still have not been replaced. This time the stove caught fire, began to smoke I immediately turned everything off. I called the emergency number and again I was told it was not an emergency. Woda Management does not care about their tenants, or their units. It looks nice on the outside, but very poor company all the way around."
