"Very good school I have been coming here since 6th grade"

"I was a former student at Skipstone Academy. During my time there my education was hindered greatly, both due to covid and the schools reluctance to teach anything above 6th grade level in middle school. The majority of the teachers were kind with the exception of a few. However over the last few years both the education and quality of skipstone has begun to deplete at a rapid rate. The classes that I was enrolled in middle school had little to no real lesson plan and mostly involved the same lesson(s) over the course of one week. I do miss Skipstone partly as the campus was overall quite picturesque. Regarding the wheel chair accessible entrance mentioned under the "accessibility," "section," in the about section. This only partly true as the only area of the campus with a designated wheel chair ramp leads into the elementary building. The path taken by the middle students to reach the middle school has many uneven slabs of concrete, along with new damage to the concrete appearing almost monthly this can be very dangerous to trek upwards and downwards with a heavy backpack. A heavy backpack is necessary as Skipstone does not provide students with lockers or anywhere to store currently unneeded objects with the exceptions of notebooks. In conclusion if you wish to have a completely hassle free time at Skipstone I recommend not enrolling your children past 5th grade. However if you wish to proceed to middle school be prepared to deal with teachers who are unwilling to adapt to help your child achieve the best possible education. "I absolutely love Skipstone. Our family is beginning our 8th year. As of now, three of my children have graduated from Skipstone and were fully prepared for college/career. The sense of family is deep and genuine. Who wouldn't love a hands on, adventurous, quality education full of experiences you just won't receive at other schools?"

"My son loves it there. The staff is really nice. Heard awesome things about it before I decided to look into it as well. It's a hands on approach to learning. Their philosophy is spot on for how my son learns best! Am looking forward to seeing him grow there."
