"Can't begin to tell you how wonderful this school has been for our children. The education alone is better than any private school. They read and discuss all of the greatest lit books and poems. My first grader learns a a new poem each week. How cool is that??!! History is made to be exciting. They learn about Greek and Roman history and read about The Odyssey. They are learning about all religions and are able to discuss them as well. Admins: You are welcomed daily by the front office which takes time to personally know everyone and is helpful in anyway possible. Truly one of a kind front office. One conversation with them and you will want to stay. Teachers and staff: They truly care about your students. There is constant communication between teachers, parents and students. They are taught to see the beautiful in everything and be the good in the world. It is a lot of information and the work can be hard, but the teachers are there every step of the way guiding them and guiding the parents as well. Sports and clubs: so many options and are adding more and more each quarter. There is a sport or club for anything your child is interested in. Students: Such an amazing group of kids and parents. Time is put in to build a community and strong relationships they will have thru high school. This year is the first year opened and already, they have built a beautiful community. Parent involvement is big at NCA. The staff wants parents to be involved and to get to know the staff on a personal level. It truly is a beautiful thing. Things to keep in mind...there is a dress code with uniforms. There are different options depending on the year. It is a charter school so they don't have buses. You bring your child to and from school and to any after school sports. Personally, we have never had anything but issues on the bus so it works well for us."
