"Sometimes things are just not meant to happen! My mother had an appointment with this office today, she received instructions, or rather partial instructions, and follow them to the letter. However, when she went to this office this morning, she was informed that she was only given a small portion of the instructions she needed for the procedure she had scheduled. Apparently, she was supposed to start the pre-procedure process five days ago, even though she was not told. So she got there with my sister, who took off work today to be with my mother, only to be told that she could not have the procedure done because an employee did not give her all of the information she needed to be prepared for the procedure. That wasn’t the end of the story, unfortunately. Additionally, they were treated very rudely, were shown no empathy and was told that they could come back tomorrow. Now, if anybody knows anything about a colonoscopy, then you already know that the process of drinking the liquid and the other things you have to do is a very uncomfortable process. So to expect that someone will want to go through that portion of it again is absolutely unacceptable. When my mom and sister asked to speak with the office manager, they were denied that opportunity. They were told that they could call back and ask for the office manager, even though we all know that she would never answer because she wouldn’t want to hear the complaints of the inappropriate and inaccurate information that is being shared with patients. Interestingly, my mom and sister were told that there were three patients prior to my mother that came in with the exact same situation. These individuals were not given accurate instructions either. Therefore, they were not prepared for their appointments as well. This is a gross example of incompetence, and whomever is responsible for sharing this information and instructions with patients should be reprimanded immediately! At this point, we don’t even trust for our mother’s care to be left to the employees of this office. Therefore, she will not be getting any procedures done here! Be warned, if you have a procedure scheduled, be sure to ask, and ask again and again if you have all of the information you need to be seen, or else, you may have to come multiple times and/or be served by incompetent workers."
"Dr. Allaway and the staff are great! He is caring and has me feeling much better. Don’t suffer with digestive issues like I did, get help and feel better!"
"Dr Allawy and his staff gave me the most comprehensive and healing care. In my case, there were "findings". In my case, those findings were mitigated because of the skill of the team. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend St. Francis Digestive Care. I am enjoying life again. It's very possible, they saved mine. Kudos"
"I’ve seen Dr. Allawy twice now. He greets me, sits down his phone, hits record and recites my medical history, in detail. He goes over his recommendations and listens to my questions, answering each fully. It is a very inter-active visit and I feel involved in managing health with Dr. Allawy. It’s a very nice partnership. And I do believe he has a photographic memory…"
"My brother was referred to these people from the St Francis ER. He and I have received nothing but the run around. I have called twice and both times their computers were "down" and they were unable to make any appointments. Conveniently I was also informed on my last attempt that I was not on his HIPPA paperwork which would be a legitimate concern; however, according to them that information would be in the same computer that they claim is "down". Please make it, make sense. My brother called for himself and they told him that they would call him back once their system was back online and he has yet to receive a callback. Disappointing is not the word for this situation, my brother needs care and according to this clinic they cannot even preform the task of scheduling him an appointment."
