"Quite frustrated with my experience today. I normally go in the store to pick up oysters on Fridays and typically wait around 45 minutes, which I get. Today, I thought I would save myself the time and call beforehand. I called three times, the first two I got transferred and then hung up on. The third time somebody finally picked up in the seafood department and said that pickup orders have to be placed 24 hours beforehand and if they were to prepare the oysters for me today, it would take 2 hours. This was my first time hearing about the 24 hour pick up order and my first time hearing it would take two hours to prepare two dozen oysters. Despite the close location, I don't find it convenient going here anymore."
"Very clean store and the different departments move pretty face. The cashier needs more customer support training...she was a little rude. However, I do like the store overall."
"Due to parking this lady decided to follow me in the store up the stairs to say her piece and leave. If you can safely make it in its a really nice store. The staff had my back so I'm definitely cool with whatever happens in that ta lot just to get in there"
"As far as Wholefoods experiences go, this one would rank as my least favorite. First, the store is small. When I arrived on a Tuesday morning not even 30 minutes after they opened, I was greeted with much of the produce section blocked by pallets and boxes of food being restocked. In all the years I have shopped at Wholefoods across the country, I have never seen anything like it. This is something that should have been done BEFORE the store opened, not while customers are shopping. It made for a safety hazard and just an annoying experience. Then, they didn't have much inventory - some Wholefoods classic that I look for when I'm shopping at a Wholefoods store, such as their fresh squeezed orange juice. This place doesn't carry it at all. The seafood and meat counter didn't offer much. When I looked for turkey bacon, there was only ONE option available to me, period. It was sad. No, pathetic. If this store's regular patrons saw what a real Wholefoods looks like, they might lose it. They are truly missing out. What I did like: 1. Easy access to the highway and downtown Detroit 2. Plenty of free parking That's about it. I get that not every market likes everything, so inventory options are controlled by the scanning numbers, what the masses like. I get all that, but for the things management can control, like when inventory is replenished, they can do better with that. I should not have to walk around pallets and boxes. That's crazy."
