Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

"We typically enjoy dining @ Cracker Barrel... Really good catfish fillets! However this time my food was a bit less than desirable - Sigh! The pinto beans, and chicken & dumplins were super dry. Nevertheless the fried catfish was super good; along with the service. Our server (Michael), was an awesome young man! He was fast, thorough, & friendly... Customer Service, & fried fish saved my dining experience!"

"This is probably one of the worst service i got in a restaurant. We got there at at 2:29 got seated at 2:36 when we git the text and our table was ready .We waited 34 mins for for a simple order of a grill cheese sandwich and a pack of apple sauce for our toddler . The grill cheese finally got there and we had to talk to a waiter and waitress twice for them to remember the apple sauce ,and to my surprised its a pre packed Item . Thats not even half of it . We waited 40 mins for napkins we asked 3 times . Waited 1 hr and 10 mins and our food never got to the table . We decided to cancel our order pay for the stuff we got , which we only got the food for our kid ,2 drinks but not our food . Even to get a check for .we had to wait another 7 mins. The staff was nice , i have nothing wrong to say about this , the manager understood and did not let us pay which we appreciate But we weren't there to eat free . We were there for a good experience and we dont expect much but at least the basic. We left at 3:44 nearly 1 hr and 12 mins total and never got to eat . This place service is very disappointing, the comunication between the staff is awful, at times it feel they do not care at all . Very disappointing."

"My mom and I had a great experience at Cracker Barrel. We arrived Saturday morning around 9:45 and there was no wait to be seated. Our server Darryln was fantastic. She was attentive and super polite. I ordered Momma's Pancake Breakfast. My eggs were cooked lightly to perfection. We both enjoyed the smoked sausage patties. The pancakes were big and fluffy. You could tell they were cooked on a grill. They could have had a bit more flavor. My mom ordered the Old Timer's Breakfast. She enjoyed it, as well. The basket or biscuits were light and tasty. The total for both meals was just shy of $20. I would definitely return again."

"The food was good. But the service was awful. We were seated right away. When the server came out we gave him our drink and food order together. 5 min later we had not received our coffee and water. He came out and served coffee and water to another group that was seated 3 minutes after us. We stopped him and told him he had never brought us our coffee and water and he said just a minute. It took another 2 minutes before he came back with it. When he brought our food I asked for additional butter which I never got and my Husband asked for a spoon for his grits that was very runny and he never got one. I had to give him mine from my coffee. My syrup for my Pancakes was in a togo cup and not warmed and I only got one. My husband was in bottles and warmed. No coffee refill and he never came back to check on us. We had to stop him to get our check. All this and the restaurant was not busy. I will go again because of the food but will definitely ask for a different section."

"Long review: Cracker Barrell is one of my favorite breakfast spots during long travel. On occasion we will go just because so that's what we did on this day. I was so incredibly disappointed. I'll start w/the 1 positive... you can place yourself on a waiting list online. However, the time given "10 min" is apparently an approximate time because "the online system doesn't know about cleaning tables." Why would the host say that? We are finally seated, 5 of us at a very small table. If we wanted a larger table, we would have to put our name back on the waiting list. Of course, we didn't do that. Our server brings out our drinks. I ordered a strawberry lemonade, and my daughter's friend ordered a watermelon lemonade. He says what it is and puts mine down and pushes it towards her. So I grabbed it, and he said that's hers, this is yours. We know what we ordered, so why would you tell us no when you clearly told us what drink you were putting down? Two of us ordered scrambled eggs hard. They came out wet and lukewarm. We decided not to eat those at all. Our daughters grits had a piece of (we think it was) green pepper in it. I forgot to mention we had to ask for silverware. And the silverware we finally received after waiting was not clean. Our server seemed irritated with us, but as time went on, he got a little better. They don't have a good score (to me). I still love cracker Barrell, but I will not go back to this location."
