"This is my first time visiting this restaurant because of Fox 5 Atlanta's "glowing" review two weeks ago. There was a crowded line to get in and that usually indicates good food on a Sunday. There's a variety of Southern Fair here and I think that's what everybody's coming to get. I ordered the turkey and dressing my two sides were carrot souffle and collard greens. Now here's the pros and cons. Pros: Service.. Service... Service. Everybody in this place treats the customers with the highest service. I think that is probably the number one aspect of even coming into this restaurant. Most business don't do that these days. Some places treat you like you were the "were" the president. This place treats you like you "are" the president. That's a game changer. Here's the scores: turkey and dressing - 4. (I wish someone would serve real roasted cut turkey. This was the sliced turkey like you get at Piccadilly's that you get two slices on top of the dressing. It was good but I still prefer the real slice grandma's "home" type turkey if you understand what I mean.) Carrot souffle -5. Collard greens - 4. Roll - 3. Bathrooms - 5. Seating area - 5. Worthy of a second visit. I'll check it out again."

"I can't honestly rate the food quite yet, but the restaurant looked and smelled utterly delicious! The restaurant was clean and well maintained, and the few employees that I came in contact with were both pleasant and extremely helpful. I am looking forward to returning with a friend or with family, to sample The Magnolia Room's offerings first hand!"

"I saw Magnolia advertised a couple years ago and have been wanting to try. We were in the neighborhood today, so it was a perfect opportunity. A wonderful place for a quiet lunch or small group lunch. Plates average $15+, which includes an entrée, 2 sides, bread, and iced tea. We had the smothered pork chop and rice and fried chicken. Sides we chose were sweet potato souffle, mac & cheese, flavored rice. Portions were large and flavorful. Our server, Marie, was very cordial and kept glasses filled and was attentive to any other need. We both couldn't finish our meals and looking forward to leftovers! Highly recommended!"
