Taco Mac Virginia Highlands

"The food is decent. It’s a nice little homey spot with decent service. Downsides: rice is super dry and flavorless. also, it is crunchy dry and STALE. I think the rice has been sitting there and that’s not good. They should always make sure even the rice is fresh. I like the wings. I honestly would order the taco the next time I come here since it’s taco Mac lol. also, their wings are not really spicy and hot."

"Placed a take out order. It was supposed to be ready at 11:24p, arrived at 11:10p, finally got the food at 11:55p. The order was wrong, and food was cold, chicken didn't have any of the lemon pepper sauce on it. Chicken was old, dried out and non chewable. The staff was rude to the customers, while goofing off with themselves."

"I took a few business associates to lunch on Wednesday at 1:30 pm. The restaurant was relatively empty and yet the food took a bit longer than it should have. Everyone enjoyed their meals and the Brussel sprouts were particularly delicious - sweet, vinegar, salt - great side."

"I will never order this through Uber eats or eat here. The wings were swimming oil. If you look at my video they aren’t even edible. The Mac and cheese looks like a child made it. They gave me a whole piece of chicken with my chicken Caesar salad. I’ve never known a place to not but it up and put it on the side. I wish I would have looked at the reviews before ordering but lesson learned I guess. Don’t waste your money or time."

"Went here for lunch midweek, around noon. We sat outside and there were only 2 other tables that customers were seated at in our section. I mention this because the wait for our food was at least 25 minutes and just felt like a long time when the restaurant was not really busy at all and its my lunch break. Our service was fine and the waitress was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. I ordered the grilled salmon plate chili mango style served with cilantro lime rice, and crispy Brussels sprouts. The fish was well done and I would have been okay with this had the mango flavor been more prevalent to make the salmon more juicer. All I tasted was the chili seasoning. The Brussels sprouts were delicious. Next time If I would choose to order the salmon plate again, I am definitely going with the Cajun rub instead."
