"I dined here for the first time yesterday evening, and while I know most people are concerned with the food, my main experience here was having an entire drink dumped on me from behind by a staff member before my entree ever arrived to the table. I didn’t make a big deal about it at the time, because accidents happen, and I didn’t want anyone to feel bad for an accident. However, my hair, my dress and my coat were saturated with sticky alcohol. I had to sit through dinner wet, sticky and cold. None of the service staff offered any assistance in cleaning myself or my belongings. The fabric back of the booth I was seated at was also wet. As I was with other guests, I just tried to make the best of it, but I was rather shocked at the service response to this. Not even 1 drink was offered as apology. I was merely presented with a manager’s card for a dry cleaning bill for what it is likely a ruined coat. Accidents do happen, but I woke up feeling this should have been handled better. The food may have been good, but I couldn’t even enjoy it because I was so uncomfortable sitting wet and sticky through dinner. Our waitress was wonderful, but that’s probably the only member of the staff here I can say anything positive about."

"Enjoyed a great work lunch here. The pasta was delicious and dessert was incredible. Our server was new but fantastic. I would absolutely return for a date or even solo meal. It’s a beautiful space and the windows give you great natural light."

"So good that I had to come back for my birthday dinner... Came to St. Cecilia a few weeks ago with friends as it had been on my restaurant list for some time, left the establishment wanting to come back as soon as possible. The ambiance is wonderful, very open and warm, with floor-to-ceiling windows and a thoughtful touch to everything you see. Staff: always so helpful and ready to walk you through the entire menu at a moment's notice. One of the best things about the menu is that it's never the same! It changes monthly–didn't realise until I came back a second time and the only pasta I recognised was the Cacio e Pepe... You can taste how mindfully each dish was made, never a dull moment as the flavours are excellently paired and the ingredients are fresh. Even my parents (who are some of the harshest critics I've met) were unable to produce any criticisms except for that the Cacio was too rich for their taste. Fun music-themed cocktail menu! My sister is a passionate fan of the gnocco fritto and has asked me to recommend it. Order the burrata with their complimentary focaccia (to die for), and though I've only tried their pastas, I saw a delicious-looking scallop dish pass by me that I am determined to order next time. Your money will be well spent here, I guarantee it! Can't wait to go back again."
