H&F Burger

"I came here because I read it was one of the best burgers in America. I ordered the original. The verdict: it was a pretty decent burger. Better than the average cheeseburger but nothing that blew my mind. The burger could be more juicy like medium rare and melt in my mouth. I like the cheese. I got takeout so I didn’t eat at the restaurant."

"Overall, not a bad first experience here. The burger I had was fantastic, I just wish there were a larger variety to choose from. The service was also subpar but we got our food so that’s all that matters."

"I came and ordered the special shake of the month, burger, and fries. I asked for the burger with no pickle. My shake came in a cute shake glass and quickly (under 5 minutes) the server came with my plate of food. As she was presenting it, I saw a pickle. I apologized and stated I ordered it with no pickle. The server took the plate back to the kitchen. Less than a minute later, the server returned. I thought to myself that was mighty quick, but figured maybe the server had grabbed the wrong plate originally. I ate a fry off the plate and it was lukewarm, but nonetheless, I was excited to eat the burger so I cut it in half and then flipped the bun to add mayo. There were pickle remnants on the burger. Instead of them making a new burger correctly, they just scooped off the pickles, while leaving pickle pieces behind. I flagged down a different server and explained my issue and asked for the check. The original server brought the check to me. No one apologized or showed remorse and no one offered to make the remake burger fresh. I’m quite disappointed as this place has rave reviews. Also, after paying the check, I asked for a to-go cup so i could take my shake with me. Since I’d taken 3-4 sips total during my stay, I didn’t feel right not paying for it. As you can see from the photo attached, $10 is quite overpriced for the small amount of shake received."

"The server had a great attitude and recommended the Durret special add a patty for the full experience. It was definitely a big burger that taste as good as it looks!"

"The size of the burger did not match the price point. Too small, they need to make the burgers bigger since they charging so much for it. The taste of burger was pretty good but the fries were salty and over fried. The lemonade was on the sweet side."
