"I stayed here for four nights and three days. Monday night to Friday morning. I had reservations. No problems checking in and out. Customer service was great. Hotel was clean and well maintained. My room was the same. Housekeeping cleaned my room and made my bed everyday. The free breakfast was good. I like the pancake machine. The hotel shares a short service road with a Fas Mart convenience store/BP gas station. Virginia Tech and Blacksburg Main Street are less then two miles away. Plenty of shopping facilities and eateries in that area."

"Tried to call at 11/11 at 2 pm to confirm reservation, phone was answered with Holiday Inn Express hold please. After 5 minutes of waiting, I hung up and checked in online. At 9 pm arrived and was told there was no reservation in name, no confirmation number and no rooms available. Confirmation number and positive confirmation shown to employee. The employee turned his back and I told him he needed to call someone, he said there was no one to call and began ignoring me. I told him there has to be someone to call in these moments/emergency and he just ignored me. I called corporate for platinum membership and they tried calling the hotel, he only put them on hold and continued to ignore me while checking in other members. Confirmation number and membership were confirmed and he got an attitude with tech support when they were able to get him on the phone. We all understand there are problems, but his refusal to help, requirement of the customer taking action to solve the problem caused us to leave and go to a hotel 35 minutes away. Drive the distance to Dublin, VA and be treated to a better hotel that understands guests shouldn't be left in a lobby Update: Called on 11/12, response from General Manager was our reservation was stuck in the system, employee will be better trained. Stated that GM believed that me driving 35 minutes to another hotel solved the problem. So good luck booking here and the hotel having your reservation because their solution is 45 minutes in the lobby and then driving 35 minutes to another hotel. Worst customer service received by a hotel"

"Nice, clean hotel. Loved layout of our king room. Best part of room is shelf in shower allowing women to prop their foot while shaving leg. That's a win for me!"

"Beyond pleased with our stay here. The hotel was very well kept, the staff were extremely nice and helpful. The rooms were beyond wha we were expecting. Shower was the best one I've experienced in a hotel. Well done. We will be definitely staying here for all future trips."
