"People complain about the store appearance. I take in everything pertaining to a place. They are short staffed and the employees work hard to keep up, they are pleasant and very helpful in locating items. People need to be thankful there are still people who are working and allowing this store to be open. We live in a society of entitlement. Be kind and thankful they are working for us."

"The store is very crowded and very unorganized. The isles are tight and always have boxes in them. It looks old and run-down. The employees are useless and would rather talk or text on their phones or talk to their friends even while they are at the register ringing out your order. I highly recommend the new Dollar Store located in Temperanceville. (13 south not that far from this location). Or if you are going to Chincoteague there is a Dollar General store there."

"I mean, if you've seen one dollar general you seen them all. The pricing is fair (especially with personal hygiene products such as body wash and deodorant) and nine times out of 10 if I'm looking for something specific they usually have it. The one in Onley is the one I frequent the most. I might stop in there once a month. It's where I go to pick up snacks ( such as oatmeal cookies) for my son because I try my best not to go out willy-nilly with the sugary stuff and their pricing is fair for what you buy."

"Only one nice lady in the entire building, Chatty is always helpful, smiling and always friendly, some of those other nasty ladies that work there could learn a few things from her they are very very rude , Ms Chatty is amazing, when I don't see her car in the parking lot I don't even go in that store"
