Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Cumming, GA

"My party came in on Friday late...tons of kids and noise in the reception area. I asked the front desk for a quiet room for my elderly mother that was with me. We agreed to a small suite near the office. Number 103. It was a make shift suite, not completely constructed. Not really an official room. It was quiet. I was told by the front desk that it was normally $229 a night but they would give it for $179. When I got the receipt in my email, I was charged $189 for the suite. I called the hotel. The manager suggested it was my fault for not checking the rate card. I understand it was my fault but it should have been resolved without accusation. Where did customer service go? Unfortunate that Radisson could not have managers to defuse and correct."

"I recently stayed here due to having an early morning appointment at Northside Forsyth Hospital. This hotel is only 4 minutes away (really close, but you have to backtrack and make a u-turn to go back towards the hospital). The room was huge and very clean. Front desk staff was friendly and professional and they also call you shortly after check in to make sure the room is good. The breakfast was limited, but had a waffle maker, pastries, cereals, breakfast potatoes, eggs and sausage. The juice great, and was not watered down at all. This hotel is also very close to shopping and restaurants. Overall, I would definitely recommend this location."

"This is hotel is in a convenient location, right off the highway. The staff was friendly for a 2 night stay and the breakfast area was well stocked and clean. However, this is a brand new construction and that is where the problems begin. The floors are plank, and there is zero noise insulation between floors. Many hotels are made with concrete between floors, but the framing of this location means that you WILL hear every step of those above you. And next to you. And in the hallway. With all the variety to choose from in this area, any other hotel that was constructed just a few years later will likely be made with concrete between floors. Ask for a top floor room when booking here. Because of this, I won’t be staying again. I want to reiterate, the staff was very friendly and the location is great. It’s just a shame that it is constructed so poorly."

"Customer service was great. Everything thing that went wrong they help fix what they could do. Rooms were great clean and big. Only 2 issues 6 floors with only 1 working elevator small inconvenience. The 2nd issue and the biggest is how thin the walls are you hear Everything above you beside you and out side your door. It was a loud weekend with a few event's staying at the time we did so we did not have good sleep. They did do half a credit on or 1st night which helps some. That's why service gets a 5 star and rooms gets 2 star. Even with the discount on 1 night we stayed 2 its not worth the price when you can't sleep. Plus side the contental breakfast was good."

"Taylor was great at checking me in quickly while telling me of the hotel’s features. The hotel looks great. Traffic in and around the hotel is a bear. Quiet room despite what other reviews have mentioned. Best pillows ever! Excellent tv display. I was in the “suite” as I needed the space for a production meeting. It’s not a suite in the traditional sense, but jut an area with additional seating and a tv. (see attached photos) The big downer was the bare floor in my room. Cold, hard and unforgiving. Nothing is better than carpet. Carpet in the hallways, but not in rooms?"
