"Everyone is so friendly, kind, and flexible. Book now for your pet boarding needs before Christmas reservations are no longer available"
"STAY AWAY! STAY AWAY! STAY AWAY! STAY AWAY! STAY AWAY! What a terrible unprofessional facility. They have no business looking after your babies. I brought my dogs here for the temperament test because this facility has more flexible hours, though they differ depending on who you speak to (one person told me 6:30 pickup time and the other told me 5:00). The receptionist grabbed two choke collars and literally just grabbed my dog and tried to put them on him. She didn't speak to him or pet him, get down on his level, or anything at all to try to build rapport. He was terrified and pulled against her while she apparently took one quick lap around the "cages" they have in the back. Not kennels, but "CAGES", and said he wouldn't go in one. My other dog didn't do much better with being strangled and dragged by a total stranger. Both of my dogs have been boarded and gone to daycare at several other facilities, so I know the routine; someone comes out and squats down with the dogs, says their names over and over, loves on them a little bit, then gets them to sit and shake on command, so that the dog understands what is going on. None of that happened. They are untrained and, to be perfectly honest, I think I dodged a bullet here. If they were that bad on the initial meeting, I can't image how poorly they care for dogs. Do they just drag them to a cage and leave them? The facility isn't even big enough to have a play area. So, what did this 7 minutes of terrorizing my dogs cost? Well, you won't believe this, but it isn't what it says on their website. 37.50 "for both" is what she told me. 75.00 plus tax is what I was charged. I had to explain to her the difference between "each" and "both". Both means two, each means (per) one. I was going to do a chargeback for the difference, but unfortunately my CC company will only do full charge backs, not partial, so I'm going to chalk this up to a learning experience; really find out who you are dealing with before you try to do business with them. Thankfully, though, you now know who it is your are dealing with; inept, careless, untrained, and uncaring staff. STAY AWAY! STAY AWAY! STAY AWAY! STAY AWAY! STAY AWAY!"
"I truly love this place and so does my pup. He literally runs to the door every time we come for day care. They take really good care of your puppies. Orlando has especially made us feel like family. He has done a great job with the care of my dog and giving advice when I need it. He treats my dog like his own! Thank you so much for all you do!"
"Greg, Ms. Kay, Sara, and the rest of the team are amazing. In my time in Atlanta they took incredible care of my two Danes, Quavo and Sarge. Their central location to Midtown/West Midtown is awesome, they have a vet office attached, open 24hours for pickup, and offer grooming/bathing services. Of course... when dogs play together every day, all day... incidents happen every once in a while... like children at school. I’ve always felt, however, that my boys were safe and in good care with them there and any minor issues were always resolved in an extremely professional, yet empathetic manor... they treat you and your dogs like they would want their family and pooches to be treated. If you’re in ATL and looking for reliable care for your pup where they will be treated with love... I’m telling you go with Bark at the Ark... peace of mind with your babies is priceless."
"We have been bringing our dog here for a few months now for daycare and have been very, very pleased each time. The staff could not be more friendly, professional or welcoming. After our first day, every staff member knew my name and my dog's name. Our dog always seems to have a great time and comes home tired and ready for a nap. They provide a full report for me at the end of each day on how he did and also send me a picture of him at some point during the day, which I love. They are always very flexible and accommodating. We have had a great experience with Bark at the Ark!"
