"Would 100% stay here again! From a free and unexpected room upgrade to free glass of champagne at the bar, this was the perfect start to my one night stay in ATL! Service was incredible (seriously every person I encountered at the hotel was over the top helpful and thoughtful). Rooms were immaculately clean, walkable to the Fox Theater where I was going to an event. It is in an up and coming part of the area, but I’m used to that and everything about the service and quality at the hotel will put it at the top of my list next time I’m here. Such a gem, and thanks to the manager and gentleman at check in. After a long day of flying, as soon as I walked in they made me feel like I was their best friend coming in from out of town lol ;)"

"Had a goodl stay with my husband and our little emotional support dog! The room, though petite as expected, was refreshingly clean. Not too much space for clothes, but we found extra drawers in the frame of the bed, with the safe tucked away in one of them. The staff was super friendly, making our stay even better. Great location, and kudos for providing extra parking spots when their parking is full. The only downside was that our room window faced the trash, which was a bit of a letdown. Despite that, we enjoyed our overall experience."

"My stay at The Darwin was perfect from start to finish. I was greeted warmly by the staff for my birthday stay. The adorable paper crane to redeem for champagne at the bar was such a nice touch. My birthday was made even more magical thanks to the celebration package my mom was able to sneakily add to my reservation. The balloons, towel sculpture birthday cake, cupcakes, champagne, and note made my arrival a truly special experience. The room was beautifully decorated with plenty of space, storage, lighting. And the beds were SO comfy. The courtyard view was adorable too. The vanity being separate from the shower/toilet is one of my favorite features- I had plenty of space to get ready and never had to deal with a foggy mirror. There were plenty of towels in the room- I never needed more for my 2 night stay. The coffee shop by day / bar by night was so convenient and it was nice to have an elevated cup of coffee in the morning rather than the typical lobby carafe we all know. The parking was definitely worth the $25 a day and the location was close enough to downtown that ubers were not expensive and if I chose to drive somewhere it wasn’t far. Every person I interacted with was absolutely lovely/ the 3 different front desk members, the barista, the cleaning staff and even the maintenance man I ran into in the hallway were all so pleasant and kind. I really could go on and on about the hotel and my stay here at the Darwin! If I ever find myself in Atlanta again I would definitely stay here again- in fact I would have to be convinced not to. Thank you for a wonderful birthday and fabulous stay in Atlanta!"

"Everything about our stay at The Darwin was exceptional! Sherries and every other staff member we encountered was friendly and went above and beyond to be helpful and make sure we had a great stay. The location is fantastic, the beds are comfortable, the rooms are clean and tastefully decorated, and they monitor the parking lots at night so parking felt safe and secure. The most fantastic Santa I've ever seen was there taking pictures and made our stay feel even more magical. I will definitely be staying at The Darwin whenever I visit Atlanta!"

"I stayed overnight at the Darwin after an evening event was hosted in its outdoor courtyard. Inside, the hotel shows off its clear boutique vibes with its artfully decorated interior and small but impactful touches. The receiving area is beautiful, opening straight out to the cozy outdoor area. Each guest is welcomed with an origami crane, handmade by a staff member. The 90s kid in me was majorly excited to see the wall of cassette tapes right by the entrance. Outside, the area is...a little sketch. There's no two ways about it, I'm afraid, and there were a number of us at the event who wondered if our cars would be okay in the lot. But there are security cameras stationed around key points of the parking lot, and I even saw a parked security vehicle stationed at the corner of the lot during my stay. My queen-sized room seemed tastefully dressed and comfortably sized. The lavatory was a bit awkwardly laid out, with a standup shower and toilet in the bathroom while the sink and vanity area sat in the main part of the room. The bed was fine, but I found that the walls and floors were a bit thinner than other hotels, as I could hear footsteps, muffled voices, and doors closing in the hallway all night, even with my sound machine and ear plugs. The staff are just wonderful. They were so friendly and chatty as I checked in, and my request for a room with a fridge was honored without a hitch. If you're looking for accommodations in a fun, walkable area, this definitely isn't it. But if you're hoping to stay in place in some comfortable digs, the Darwin would be well worth a look."
