"Jack the cat is well!!!!! I adopted a very sick kitten in February. I took him to the urgent care at Cat Clinic and we began the process of figuring out what was wrong with Baby Jack and how to help him. The staff never gave up and after months of various treatments and test and one procedure, Jack the Cat is well. He is an absolutely precious kitty and I am so grateful to everyone who pitched in to save him!"
"THEY OVERCHARGE FOR MEDICATIONS You charged me $50 for a $20 tube of ointment. You told me to buy it later in a store at the normal price, and then added it to my bill without notice at the insane markup. I trusted you to not be awful people, and you have failed at that. I will not be trusting you with my pet for regular care, and I will not be using the specific insurance you pushed on me. DOUBLE CHECK WHAT THEY ARE CHARGING YOU FOR OTC MEDICATIONS!!! An ointment I was told to buy later on was thrown onto my bill without notice, and that was at twice the cost of buying it elsewhere so I obviously came back for a refund. Staff and visit was wonderful, but greedy people up top ruined everything. ONLY USE IN EMERGENCIES!!!"
"Cared lovingly for our two cats while we were away for a week and a half."
"This place is very, very busy, so they are not hurting for business. Unfortunately, thy byproduct of this is that all of the visits are rushed and the care is substandard. Also, although the name implies that they deal strictly with your feline friends, the other half of the building is for "dogs only" and is attended by the same vets. They need to refocus their attention on animal care instead of high-volume business. As a cat owner, you can do better elsewhere... try the Community Cat Clinic."
"I can not say enough good about the Cat Clinic of Woodstock. I have been bringing my cats to Dr Weaver and her team of pet care professionals since we moved to this area in 2001. I was thrilled when they decided to separate into two entities to create the cat clinic. It makes a huge difference for the kitties who are already stressed from being out of their home to have a much quieter and dog free environment. They took care of my cat Midnight from age 6 until he passed away at 18 and my baby Smokie was in their care his entire life. Smokie came to us as a tiny baby who was quite ill. He had multiple issues both genetic and acquired from being born to an outside mother who was also unhealthy. When I first brought Smokie in none of us were hopeful that he would make it but that little fighter and the skill of the docs and staff got him through and even though his road was often bumpy he did live to the age of 15 which was long past any expectations for a cat with his problems. I will be forever in their debt for getting him through so much and seeing to it that his quality of life was really good right up until the end. A few months after Smokie passed away I adopted a wonderful pair of brothers from them, Sam and Dean. They had been born around the time Smokie passed away and grew up with the people at the Cat Clinic. They are so very sweet, a very bonded pair and I always felt that they were fated to be my babies, that they stayed around and waited for me to come and get them. They were 6 months old when I brought them home. If you are looking for medical care for your animals or looking to adopt I totally recommend stopping by here and getting to know the amazing staff. They do wonderful work and are really great people too."
