Reviews of Sweet Dreams In-Home Pet Euthanasia
"Today my retired Police K9, Toby, went to the bridge, in his favorite spot by our creek. This process was made so much easier by Sweet Dreams. Their bedside manner was so respectful, so compassionate and empathetic. Thank you for enabling my boy to go to the bridge from where he loved and felt comfortable. Toby wasn't your average police dog, he was a rescue, who was leary of new people. So, the thought of having to take him to the vet and making him uncomfortable in his final moments was gut wrenching and completely unacceptable for us. Sweet Dreams didn't balk when they had to travel a great distance to accommodate Toby's final needs. I will forever be grateful."
"This is the second time we've used Sweet Dreams for our pets. I had a terrible experience in the vet's office with my 18yr old cat and best friend, so when I found out about in-home services, I knew this was the right path. Our first experience with Sweet Dreams for our dog Molly was so lovely there was no other option in our mind this time around. We tell everyone about Sweet Dreams. This time, our beloved Flossie Girl was starting to fail. We had kept other pets alive longer than we should have for our benefit, so we wanted to ensure that this time we did this before the pain. It's a heartbreaking decision, especially when your pet has "good days." We had an appointment scheduled but once our kids found out it was before Christmas, they asked us to wait until after. Sweet Dreams was very understanding. We then decided the day before to switch locations, nearly an hour away, they were understanding. Even on the day we asked them to come to the beach instead of the cabin, since that's where Flossie loved to be. There was a mix-up in communication from the office to the staff - and they went in the wrong direction, but still made it to the beach. I can't imagine the stress of being "ready" but then being told - we'll have to reschedule. Sweet Dreams went out of their way to ensure we still could have service during all of our changes. Incredibly gracious and kind - I never felt stressed or like I was putting them out. Dr. Quinlan and Stacy were the sweetest people on the planet, treating our girl with as much love and care as we do. Dr. Quinlan talked us through what would be happening calmly, ensured we were ready, never rushed us, and had such a relaxing presence that made it much easier. Stacy asked a few questions about our fluffball and gave a couple of funny anecdotes on her own, that took us out of the deep sadness and pain if only for a moment. The little things matter - a sweet blanket to take away your pet, the way they approached our girl and petted her, the way they lifted her, etc. Empathy and care are not something you can teach and it takes a VERY special kind of person and doctor to be able to handle the pet as well as the grieving family (and in less than an ideal environment/surroundings). You also feel taken care of in addition to your pet. Words cannot express how grateful we are to the Sweet Dreams team, and how lucky we are to have found them. Thank you for everything."
"From beginning to end everyone I encountered was just so kind. This was one of the hardest decisions and most painful moment of my life. And everyone was so supportive. Stacy and Dr. Whitlock arrived right on time. They spoke with quiet compassion and explained everything before we got started and then as we took each step. I am so thankful they came to help my girl, Olive, and I. They even maneuvered everything so that Olive and I could sit on our bed (my bed is on the floor and in a tiny cramped room). They cared about Olive and I so much and were so gentle with us. Thank you Dr. Whitlock and Stacy for giving us such a loving and peaceful experience."
"Yesterday morning we had to put down our sweet, precious, Finn. I cannot say enough about how compassionate and caring all of the folks with Sweet Dreams have been. They made a dreadful experience into a seamless and beautiful experience as our sweet Finny crossed over Rainbow Bridge. The office staff I spoke with, Morgan and Nash, were superior. They were so compassionate and showed the upmost respect and gratitude. The vet, Dr. Palmer, was seriously an angel. She was truly a gift from God and could not have been more caring and loving as we said goodbye to Finn. And the same goes for the tech - she was just as sweet and loving. They were simply angels. I have no words as to how wonderful they truly were. I recommend Sweet Dreams to anyone facing the hardest decision any pet owner can face."
