"I took my cat here for the first time today because she was vomiting and has been super lethargic. I was brought into an exam room by one of the vet techs, Nicole. I let her know it was my first time here, and I explained why I brought my cat in. I also mentioned how she may have bitten into a grape a few days ago. After they took my cat to the back, I hear the tech and what I assume to be the vet (Dr. Hembree) talk about my *indoor* cat not being up to date on her rabies vaccine - essentially stated it’s 2024, why is she not up to date on her rabies vaccine? Then, they start talking about grapes and one asked if the other wanted a grape. I thought these comments were rude and unprofessional of the staff. I was obviously worried about my cat and wanted to make sure she was okay, and those comments were the last thing I expected / wanted to hear. I won’t be bringing my cat back."
"I’ve been taking my cats here for years. Great people all across the board, always. Years ago my cat, Pandora, had to be put to sleep due to cancer. The whole team was extremely kind and professional. Just recently our cat, Jasper, was very ill and we were going to put him to sleep. However he passed naturally in his sleep in our bed at home with his cat dad and brother. My husband took him into NCAH to be cremated, once again the staff was unbelievably kind and loving. I picked him yesterday, I was met with the same kindness and care as we’ve always received. I will always bring my fur babies to NCAH."
"North Cobb Animal Hospital has been taking care of my westie, Olive, for over 17 years!! Brenda, Office Manager, has been my "go-to" all these years. The team has always been kind and helpful. We moved from Kennesaw over a year ago and still make the 25 mile commute JUST so Olive can receive care there. They are the best."
"We’ve taken our cats, Scooter & Ellie, here since we got them and they’ve always been wonderful with them. The front staff and Vet techs are always very friendly and personable. The Veterinarian’s themselves are also friendly, caring and very thorough in answering any questions we had about care and feeding of our cats. Just this last visit I was asking some questions about our cats’ diet and the Veterinarian not only gave me all the advice she had, but she also did some additional research after I left and called me later to confirm what she had told me. They’ll really go that extra mile in caring for your pets."
"Edit: While I really miss Dr. Murphy who has taken care of our pumpkin & other babies (and would love to know how he’s doing okay elsewhere or retired) I really appreciate the level of care they have provided in our emergency and semi-urgent issues in the last year. At first, I wasn’t sure about Dr. Narravo. Dr Murphy knew our Pumpkin and his issues really well since he had been his vet since he was 10 weeks old, but my wife was sold after the first appointment. And after her working with us to get him on other meds and really making some great decisions (even though they were hard for us to make), I’m so happy we have her as our vet. This week (December ‘22) the office squeezed pumpkin in after I woke up and found him sleeping on the bed with his head to the side and very unresponsive. He had all over muscle weakness, was wobbling, and bad twitching. I called at 10:00 and they asked how far I was, I told them 15 minutes. They asked “can you come now?” And I threw on clothes and was there as soon as I could. They squeezed us in as an emergency and got him taken back to be checked out in less than 10 minutes. Then they got a room available and brought my boy to the room after he got has blood work and full exam. Dr. Navarra came in the room and spent so much time with me talking about every single possibility of what was going on. She didn’t seem rushed and her body language wasn’t positioned like she was just ready to leave. She spent so much time talking to me after the exam and when the blood work came back. Dr. Navarra truly cares about animals and I am 100% confident in her care for Pumpkin. Having your cat acting like they’re drunk, stumbling, head drouping, twitching, is a scary thing. But we got through it and Pumpkin seems to be on his way to a full recovery! I have had nothing but good experiences with Dr. Murphy. If you have cats, especially ones with urinary issues, I would recommend him the most! He has been working with us and our cat Pumpkin for a couple years now. Had an emergency visit again today! They work really hard to get you in if it’s urgent! I called and came in right away. Not the most expensive and not the cheapest (but in my experience those places have not been worth the low cost). Would recommend! The office staff are very helpful and the vet techs are very caring!"
