"My daughter's budgie was sick and Dr. Cawley was the only avian veterinarian I could find somewhat close to me (a little over an hour). I called and was able to get in that same afternoon. Dr. Cawley and all the staff were absolutely amazing. My daughter did not want to be in the exam room bc she was upset and couldn't watch or listen to her sick bird. When Dr. Cawley finished the exam and treatment, he went out to the waiting room to tell my daughter what was going on, what to expect, etc.. The next day, he called to check on the bird's condition, to see if there was improvement, and to discuss a game plan for the next week. The office manager gave us a stack of information on proper budgie care, the vet tech was engaging and compassionate - the entire experience left me lamenting having ever taken a pet anywhere else!! I most definitely recommend Animal Hospital of Nesbit Ferry all.day.long!"
