"My hair was braided nice. I went on asking for 2 braids. Just needed something really quick. It was a holiday so my regular place was closed. Everyone I called that was open was charging 30 for the 2 braid. So I assumed it was the going rate. But not here. She first said it was 50. I knew I would not be returning because I didn't get but 2 braid why am I paying that much. And the braids were not big. I was in the chair all of 20 minutes when she started my hair. I went to the store to get the money. When I got back it was 45 dollars. If I would have known I would have went somewhere else that was charging 30. But this shop was like 5 minutes away from where I was. I will not return."

"Very poor service I did not get what I went in to get done ,they did what they wanted to do to my hair. I am so pissed right now. I sent pics to them explaining how I wanted my hair is asked for medium Marley twist well I didn't get what I paid for it got more like individual/ micro twist. One lady was smelling like fish when she opened her mouth. And it took 6 hours on my head with 3 braiders smh. If it was left up to me I will snatch all of their license and send them back to Africa with they rude ass"

"Terrible service. I use to come to this shop about 2 to 3 years until I found a better shop. They are very lazy they do no provide the hair anymore. They take several breaks off an on. I have experienced braids coming out on numerous occasions. Sloppy job also. Hair sticking out of braids an even spots they for got to braid. They do not listen I've seen customers complain about improper styling & wrong style. They did my faux dreads so bad one time & told told me to buy the wrong hair. My hair has recovered but my edges where so bad. Dirty shop also. Prices are cheap because they don't provide the hair or good service. The woman commenting below who said 6 hours that's ridiculous. I had my sengalese twist done at azara hair braiding in 4 hours . I use to sit in Genesis 6 to 8 hours even 9 . Terrible"

"Great service , and was quick. I received lots of compliments on my hair. I got Senegalese twists done, but I say box braids and micros also being done that looked great also. They had two people working on my hair most of the time. I have a lot of natural hair, but they still got done in the 6 hours promised! Great shop! *note* if you use GPS or google, look for the shop to be on the opposite side of the road that it tells you."
