"They didn't prioritize the health of my hair. The flat iron and straightening comb was waaaay too hot to use without proper hair products like heat protectant and it gave me real bad heat damage. So now I have to go through a journey getting my hair healthy again."

"Visited for the first time a few weeks ago. Figured I would try them out. I was so disappointed. I made an appointment for 2pm for a silk press for my daughter. I was told to come back at 4pm. I come back at 4, and my daughter is still sitting with only her hair washed and blow dried. The stylist had someone else in her chair. I told the stylist we have other appointments (we ended up having to reschedule). We didn't leave until after 5pm. And I feel like the stylist rushed (my daughter's silk press was not good). The stylist did not do a good job AND did not manage her time properly. Will not be back."

"Customer service was great but I came for a consult to get my sons locs retwisted and the loctician gave every excuse in the world not to do my sons hair even after the other hair dresser recommended he just needed a good wash due to dry scalp. Don’t waste people’s time! Get some REAL hair dressers who want to work and get this money."

"The young lady who assisted me was very nice and even accepted me being late for a 6:00pm appointment! I was booked for a simple flat twist - a service listed on their website for $85.00, although a bit pricey, I went ahead and booked the appointment. To my surprise, I was shamelessly charged $120 for this service! I gave the young lady a tip for accommodating me and being courteous after I was late to the appointment, but the service was certainly not worth the amount of money charged. As a consumer, I’d like to know and agree with the service charges prior to being charged, I should not have to ask. My advice (whatever it’s worth) is to be transparent about your pricing upfront. Unfortunately it’s unlikely that I’ll be a regular at this salon as this is a one and done! I don’t like feeling as if I was baited and switched."
