"I'll add to the horrible reviews.... it's crazy we have to pay a fee just to make an on time payment. And if it's not coweta water and it's the new payment company they're using then they need a new payment company!!!"
"Thanks Coweta County Water Authority for excellence in customer service! Jamie was very helpful in helping us with a water leak at the house. She alerted us of a slow water leak and continued to provide usage information as the problem was investigated. Brandon also exemplified service excellence in his communication and actions to support our irrigation meter connection to the new dedicated meter. It's refreshing to have this level of service in our community. Nice work Jamie and Brandon!"
"I have tried to call the office to get assistance with fees on my bill. I have held for 20+ min each time I call. I emailed and was told I could access all of the information I was looking for on the website after registering my account. I cannot register my account bc it will wants my account number and last payment amount. The payment amount says it incorrect despite my using last month payment amount and this months. So, I'm back to square one. FYI, they are charging $2.50 for paper statement and putting a round up donation on your bill without your knowing what its for or your consent. Website is not user friendly, and you cannot get in touch with anyone for assistance."
"Horrible, but guess what? You're stuck with them unless you have a well. Been on autopay with credit card on file for 10 years. TEN YEARS! They bury in fine print that at some vague future date their payment system will be changing. I discover it changed when I looked at my account and saw it was over a month late in payment and was scheduled for disconnection. Called and talked. Very short, rude agent says "yeah, it changed". What about the credit card autopay I've had for 10 years? "yeah, you needed to re-enroll in that. You didn't so there is a late fee on your account". If I re-enroll in autopay there is NO payment option that does not come with a % service fee. They are now the ONLY utility in the county charging a convenience fee for payments. GA Power dropped it, EMC never had it. Only way to avoid fee is mail or drop off check or use bill payment from your bank. I guess it's nice to be a MONOPOLY where customers have ZERO choice. As others have said here, they could not care less about anything to do with you. Just send money...that they will charge you to accept."
"If I could give no stars I would. I know that posting a review does nothing but wanted to let people know that as long as I have been paying my own bills, I have never in my life had to deal with any company as greedy as coweta water and sewage. My bill- $208. Late fees- $73. Paid the bill and couldn't afford the late fees and they still cut me off. Borrowed money to pay the late fees and they say "we can't turn it back on until tomorrow". I have a pole and now i have to pay an extra $100 for doing the same thing the guy was going to do. Edit- Was just informed by the manager that I can turn my meter on and off as much as I want as long as my bill is paid. My bill was paid after the disconnect. What's the difference?"
