Steak 'n Shake

"Walked in to order and dine in, there was a man standing at the counter holding a receipt. After standing there a minute or so someone walks up and asks if she can help him. He explains he had just gone through the drive through and he was missing his fries. She then asked if he had his bag… he replies “it’s in my car” she tells him she’s going to need to see the bag before she can do anything. Making him make another trip he shouldn’t have had to make in the first place. I decided not to order and went to five guys across the street"

"I’ve been to multiple steak n shakes throughout many states and this one takes the prize for worst. Food was terrible. Garlic bun had no garlic, every steak and shake gives you that specific burger in a box since it’s greasy but they didn’t. The shake tasted like a lightly flavored snow cone and it had a lack of toppings. When I asked the drive through girl for steak/fry seasoning and mayo she just closed the door and left me out there 4 minutes later she came back with just the seasoning no mayo"

"Prices were a little different than average, and the food we ordered had to be returned due to it being incorrect. The cashier at the time was very polite and professional. Once we received our order, my husband's burger only had cheese on it when the normal burger comes with lettuce, onions, and pickles, but none of those items were on the burger. We just decided to let it go because it would have been a second time sending it back. We also didn't get a receipt for our order. These could be a few things to work on for future customers. "I like the food they serve however, the service at this restaurant is absolutely awful. It doesn’t matter when you go they are slow. Doesn’t matter if it’s busy or if you are the only one there it takes forever to get your order and most of the time the people are rude, unfriendly and get something wrong or forget to give you something. Today I asked for ketchup, was told it was in the bag, I had already looked in the bag and there was none so again I said can I get some ketchup? The guy handed me 2 packs for 2 orders of fries. I looked him straight in the eye and said really dude? Does it come out of you paycheck or is there a ketchup shortage I’m not aware of? Can I please get some ketchup or should I drive to Kroger and buy a bottle?"

"For them not to be busy and still can mess up your whole order is wild. Just order myself and nephew a number 7, and 8. Both wrong. Fries was very cold. Had to put them in the air fryer."
