"Charlie who works the breakfast area is absolutely wonderful! Everything was so great and clean. Room was very nice and clean. Thank you for such a wonderful rest! Definitely will stay again. This was our 2nd time staying overnight on our trips. Keep up the greatness it is very rare these days!"

"Shower had someone's hair on the walls, the shelves in the shower were dirty. Rooms seems clean otherwise, but I'd checked out if the weather was good. They have a sign on the elevator stating "only alcohol in your room and not by the pool or common areas". I stay 100+ nights in hotels a year and have never seen such a thing. A mass email went out to my colleagues of the picture I took of the sign on the elevator. Now I remember why I switch to Marriott over 5 years ago..."

"Another choice of meat besides the half dollar sized round of pork jerky they call Canadian bacon. Otherwise, outstanding friendly staff, clean rooms and comfortable beds."

"We had been driving for 12 hours to see family in Petersburg, VA. We were very tired and it was 1 am. I called about 10 hotels, no one had anything due to Virginia Tech game the next day. I called this hotel at 1am and the guy was super nice, said come on, we just had a cancelation. The relief was immense! Clean rooms, comfy beds and an awesome breakfast! Thank you guys so much!"

"Staff were great! Room was good but would be nice to have larger trash cans and an exhaust fan in the bathroom. We did find some ants on some breadsticks that were left out in a paper back and in the trash. I was disappointed with the pet fee being so high, almost the cost of the room itself!"
