"The service offered by the Greek Consulate staff, especially Mr. Vouzikis, was great! He’s very kind, friendly, and remarkably helpful. Grateful for his attention to details and the dedication to ensuring the completion of the process!"
"I have consistently witnessed and received professional treatment and service at the Consulate of Greece in Atlanta. The Consul, Vice Consul, and staff all have treated my family members and me with respect and kindness. They are diligent, service-oriented and professional, even when they cannot grant a request or perform the requested service. They have also been flexible and worked with me to overcome obstacles and achieve the desired goals in various legal matters I have consulted with them over the years. Their job is very challenging, and they probably don't hear the words "thank you" nearly as often as they deserve. For their help I will be eternally grateful."
"I’m so disappointed in the Atlanta staff. I know my review won’t be as different as others. But someone needs to seriously intervene. The guy was so rude and disrespectful. My daughter and i tried to book a visa appointment online. And their website wasn’t working for some reason. You get to the time selection and nothing happens. First they need to replace those rude people, and this includes the reception lady as well, they are so inhumane. And fix that old website. I’m stuck in Atlanta. I can’t get an appointment, my daughter had to go to school without me. She flew from Atlanta to Greece by herself, the guy even said to her that she’s 19 therefore she’s old enough to travel by herself, and that she was lying when she said the school needed her parents for orientation. So i have missed my child’s orientation due to these people. I just don’t know what else to do at this stage. I have sent emails after they guy chased us like dogs, and tried calling, i have sent screenshots of the website and issues i was encountering, still nothing. All i need is an appointment so i could go see my daughter and her new school. How difficult can this be!!!!this is absurd."
"Horrible experience!! We were denied visa the first time due to missing hotel reservations, we reapplied and got denied again due to “no justification to the trip”. By the time we got the notification to pick up our passports, we had 5 days left for the appeal period. The visa had been denied more than a week before we were notified. And for the appeal, they need a letter written in greek and/or a Greek lawyer to be present, how can someone possibly arrange for all this with 5 days’ notice? To make matters worse, we had clearly stated the reason for the visit as vacation, I do not know a single country that needs you to justify going on vacation. We had our flights and hotels reserved, in addition to the travel insurance. All this was lost $$$ I believe their motive was purely racist, due to the passports we hold. We live and work in Atlanta by-the-way and provided proof for all this. The lady at the front was very rude during both visit we made for the interview, and there was no responses via email or phone when trying to speak to someone to understand what was/is needed to make our application “complete” since we submitted everything listed on their website and were still denied. This was a horrible experience and definitely demotivated us from ever visiting Greece"
