"If I could give a negative star, I would. I feel like the ATL consulate is completely useless, everything I need to do is extremely difficult to get it done by the consulate. When we didn't have to schedule appointment I would see people getting their documentation done no later than 2 months. However, now that they want you to do everything online or mailing it in, it's taking people 2 yrs to get things done, because the consulate has made things harder. Why do we even have a Brazilian consulate if it's not to help with Brazilian documentation?"

"Absolutely terrible service. They don’t answer phone calls, they don’t respond to emails, and although their website says they’re open until 4 they close at 3. It’s very frustrating as there’s no other option to get what I need done"

"The worst service of my life. I was humiliated. The people working at this place yelled at me. The woman named Mônica, with whom I interacted, kicked me out of the establishment. I have a video as proof. She puts her hands on me and forcefully removes me from the establishment. It's a shame on these individuals who are there to assist people in need, and they simply act as they please. There needs to be justice in this place, and they need to learn to respect others."

"I feel completely helpless and a bit ashamed of this service. I sent in all my paperwork to renew my Brazilian passport, and I got a call saying that they would not renew my passport, although I sent in ALL the required paperwork, because my marriage to an American isn’t registered to Brasil. What does my marital status have to do with my citizenship?? Then I proceeded to apply to get our marriage registered at the consulate, and guess what I need to get it done? A VALID PASSPORT! I’ve sent countless emails, they do not want to help!! As a Brazilian citizen I feel ashamed to the service that they’re not providing."
