"I have been trying to get insurance setup with them since before Thanksgiving. I was given this story about how the guy is volunteer and just helping out and the new manager doesn't know how to do his job yet and thats why there is a delay. We finally got the paperwork done and he asks me to come into the office. I told him I could but I only have 30 minutes because I have meetings lined up after. He said what they need to do would only take that amount of time. As I walked into the office an extremely aggressive dog came out of an office and was growling, showing it's teeth, and barking. I thought it was going to pounce on me but fortunately it didn't but was standing inches from me. I immediately asked why is that dog here. The front desk person says the dog does that when it hears the bell but hasn't bit anyone. I turn around and ask them to please send the docs via docusign and I will sign them at home. The agent calls me a few times that day but I can't answer because like I told him, I was stacked with meetings. The next day he calls and I ask him if he has sent the docs so I can sign them and he said no because he tried calling me the day before and I didn't answer. I told him that I advised him that day that I had meetings. I asked if he could send them that day since it was only like 12pm. He said no and it will have to wait till Monday. I told him I had been waiting since before Thanksgiving and it only takes a few minutes to setup docs to be signed electronically, he said he was off and he could do them Monday. I asked why someone else in the office couldn't do them and he said they are too busy. He also never apologized for the dog's behavior. He said that's the first time the dog has done that. I told him that the front desk lady says it happens everytime the bell rings so its not the first time. He said oh every one loves the dog and the owner can't leave him at home so he's in the office. I told him if he has a dog that shows extremely aggressive behavior like that then at least get the dog a crate while in the office. The agent got offended and said he would be in touch on Monday. Welp it is Monday and I just got told by that agent that my rates would now be more because it is after the 30th after he tried to sell me a different policy. I have also filed a complaint with corporate. This whole situation is insanity."
"Tried to get a quote from this agent and definitely a personality issue. Was reprimanded for something that was not my fault as if I was to blame. So decided to avoid this company. Also not interested in getting inspections of all property (stated after reprimand = tune change) before you insure them since it is all public record anyway. Very strange. Will be going with one of the other 'easy and kind' quotes I got."
"What a disappointment! I bought a policy here and Farm Bureau decided to decline to insure me. I still dont know why? They mailed me a letter to inform me according to customer service. No email. No phone call. No respect!!! Here is the worst part. I have been driving two financed vehicles with a combined value of about $70,000 with no coverage!! I called you to protect me and my interests. Instead of protecting me, you left me completely exposed. Additionally, you left the public exposed if I had an accident and hurt someone. If thats not bad enough, I have had continuous coverage for e very long time. That results in a discount. One that I have now lost. Unprofessional complete failure of the mission. So glad I didnt have to share a foxhole with you. I probably wouldn't have made it home."

When I walk into Don Self State Farm this is the reception….“Come into my office how are you and your wife doing?” Your office, the lady try’s to get the receptionist to figure out what form I need without even coming out of her office! There is no…”How are you doing? Is our Health and Dental plan taking care of your needs?” “Do you have any questions?” Is there any other services I can help you with? No, but, belittling statements are made about you in the lobby. You transferred your Health plan to another bank (3) years ago…like you dummy….why didn’t you take care of this then! My Question is why are they not on the same form? Or why did you not take care of the moving them both at the same time? Because, you didn’t treat me like a valued customer to make sure I was aware of them being on separate forms! The reason I have not come and changed the Health and Dental is because I didn’t feel apart of the family and dreaded facing the hassle and expected treatment as like again today! Please take an example from State Farm, treat your customers like family!"
