Walmart Auto Care Centers

"They refused to work on a Continental ProContact tire. They said they had never heard of a tire with insulating sound foam in it, and at the same time said they had a policy to not work on this tire. Without even looking at the tire they told me they could not fix it, and they refused to explain why they would be unable to fix a tire they only heard about moments before. The gentleman at the service counter actively refused to explain anything about why they would be unable to help, and was somewhat aggressive in tone. I will never ever trust Walmart to work on my car or a tire THEY SELL AND INSTALL! Walmart does not repair tires they sell. Look elsewhere for your tire needs. Tire Discounters in Ooltewah was able to work on my car quickly and for a reasonable price. How can a tire center like the one at Walmart call itself a tire center if they don’t even repair the very tires the sell? The employees had never even seen the “tech” (foam glued to the inside of the tire) in the Continental tires, and increasingly available “tech” for many tires."

"Everyone was friendly. The mechanic looked liked he knew what he was doing. The associate was helpful in getting the car fixed."

"Willie seems like a good dude and is definitely willing to go the extra mile for ya. I've seen lots of negative reviews for oil changes etc. Can't comment on this I never use these places for things like that. As far as tires go, this place has been perfectly fine even honoring the road hazard twice for me. That's rare. 4 stars and not 5 only because I had one person tell me they couldn't order my tires and another was actually able to get them. Another fella was a bit unfriendly but maybe he was just having a bad day"

"Was told over the phone if I get there within 10 k minutes I’ll be able to get seen and have an oil change done within 10 minutes. When I got there they told me 45 minutes. Absolutely useless, I wasted a lunch break for that. Last time I got an oil change done at a Walmart auto center they also said 45 minutes and it ended up being 1.5 hours."

"Yes I'm editing this because they told me that the lugs on my car could not be removed cause that were rusted on. I took it down the street and there was no problem, that's just lazy. The auto center is around the right side of the store in the back behind the garden center. It's your typical Walmart auto center. They do minimal work for cheap pricing."
