Walgreens Pharmacy 2323 Canton Highway, Cumming, GA 30040

"They gave my 17 year old som the wrong prescription that belonged to someone else. We had not noticed and gave it to him for almost an entire week. We went on vacation and my son had an episode and the medicine which will should help him my husband notices it’s some Bonita Howard’s medicine and not my sons medicine. I call them and they are concerned about what time the meds were picked up. Never called me back. I call corporate two times they called me back later that evening I didn’t hear my phone. I called them back the next day she tells me that they had called me and left a message. I saw the missed called later that evening I called back early next morning. She escalated the phone call but told me someone had left a message. I told her no one left a message.and someone higher than management would call me. So from Saturday till Monday my sons episodes get worse. I had already emailed all his doctors about the issue. One of his doctors calls to speak to pharmacist. She calls me back and tells me that apparently they were trying to reach me and they were going to put in for the right prescription. I called pharmacist and he tells me he has to wait for find out if legally than can send medication. He asked for my number and I told him if you have been calling me why do you need it. I verified my phone number and also gave my husbands number. I waited for them to call me back 1 hour later I call them back again I had gotten at this point three phone calls one from CHOA and two from the nurse. Walgreens for some reason can seem to get a hold of my husband and I cause apparently they called us both. So now it’s Monday late afternoon at this time and since Saturday my son has been having his episodes. We took him to ER and all they can do is calm his episode but no prescription. We finally got our prescription at night. Four days of my sons vacation lost because by the time the medication kicked it it was not till Tuesday evening. I reached out to the person who’s medication was given to my son through next door app to let her know about the error that was made I asked the customer service rep from Walgreens corporate if they had called her they wouldn’t answer me. I have still yet to hear from corporate office. It’s been since 7-15 I called to complain."

"This place is horrible, we always have problems here and sometimes they don’t even try to fix the problems they create. They say your prescriptions are ready then you show up and have to wait, or they say you only have 1 when you have multiple. They told me only one of my prescriptions were ready and then when I tried to come back to get the other one they said I have to call my doctor because it’s been too long. You told me you didn’t have it…then you call me and say it’s ready but when I show up you put it back. it’s a medicine that has withdrawal symptoms but they don’t care that they messed up your scripts and you could end up in the hospital or die. Terrible people"

"The pharmacist is always helpful and polite. Other pharmacy employees were also friendly, and made sure my insurance was used properly. The Walgreens store itself has the usual lineup of products, and I've succesfully bought fresh milk from there as well."

"location is fine, however we get attitude regularly when bringing in fedex - especially from one staff member who i will not publically embarrass. we spend a lot of money here at the store and pharmacy, so that is disappointing."
