Positive Spin is a non-profit community bike shop located at 1216 University Avenue in Morgantown, West Virginia. Our mission is to educate, encourage, and empower people to maintain and ride bikes for any reason. We are entirely supported by volunteer time, bike donations, and monetary contributions.

We are open on Tuesdays from 5pm to 10pm, but you can start shopping for a refurbished bike before our public opening by following our bike shopping directions. Simply phone us at 304-933-2633 (304-WEE-CODE) when you arrive or catch the attention of a volunteer.

As a volunteer-run organization, we offer various benefits to those who donate their time to our cause. Volunteer hours can be redeemed for repair stand time, used bikes, and parts within our shop season. We also offer paid memberships with benefits such as free repair stand time and discounts on parts and accessories.

At Positive Spin, we provide a space for people to work on bikes and learn bike mechanics skills. Our volunteers are available to help you with diagnosing and repairing your bicycle, but we encourage a do-it-yourself approach. We have a Repairs Policy, Safer Space Agreement, Storage Policy, and Trade-in Policy in place to ensure a welcoming and inclusive environment for all visitors and volunteers.
