Hotel Indigo Columbus at Riverfront Place, an IHG Hotel

"Everything was great from check in to check out. The valet was the best, always quick and friendly. Every single employee was polite and helpful. The rooms were gorgeous and housekeeping was attentive. Only one draw back was the restaurant/bar “Denim and Oak” the waiter/bartender never provided change or receipts. For the meal it was ok because it was intended to be his tip but we never received the receipt or was offered change. After my family went up stairs I stayed at the bar for a double shot of Crown Royal on the rocks (it is my go to and price ranges depending on where I’m at) for $31.50! I gave him $40 and was goin to tip $5 but he never returned with my change. So I went and got a pint locally for 30 and enjoyed the lobby while I people watched. I noticed no one ordered more than one drink at the bar. I can only guess why."

"Menus at the downstairs restaurant (named Denim & Oak) have been revised recently! There is a one man kitchen, where the chef is devoted to tasty food in a timely manner. Seating is always available downstairs, though a reservation is preferred for parties of 4 or more. Upstairs at the rooftop bar (named 1885), the cityscape viewpoint is unlike anything else in Columbus. There's a perfect skyline of the river and architecture from the Historic District of downtown Columbus. But beware! If the weather is unruly, they will be closed! So call ahead to find your perfect nighttime meal & adventure."

"Ok location is tricky it took a minute to find it and it was at night. So about this place I would definitely recommend it to any it is beautiful. A roof top bar and very nice dining lobby however, although it's 4 stars it is a 6/10 for me. Like I said trying to find the hotel at night is a nightmare the velvet goes at pace but it's a really tight squeeze and the water in the shower wasn't hot AT ALL. It was like the person before you used all the hot water it didn't get hot AT ALL. And I was really looking forward to that beautiful shower to relax me before and after that concert but it didn't happen so I didn't like that, but it's still a place I'm returning to just to get away and relax. It was raining that morning so we didn't go far for a walk. Hopefully the water will be hotter because I told them about it and will ask about it when I go back It's a very beautiful Hotel."

"I recently stayed at the Hotel Indigo Columbus at Riverfront Place and was impressed with the modern and clean facilities. The staff was extremely nice and accommodating, which made my stay even more enjoyable. The views of the river were remarkable and added to the overall experience. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Columbus, GA. The hotel is located in a prime location and offers a variety of amenities, including a fitness center, shared lounge, restaurant, and bar. The rooms were spacious yet cozy and extremely clean. The room decor is well thought out and is consistent with the history of the area. There were multiple electrical outlets plus six additional dedicated USB plugs for charging my devices! I am a photographer and carry lots of equipment, so I was in heaven with all the options for my devices. As for parking, there is only street parking which will result in a lengthy walk back to the hotel or valet parking. The valet parking is affordable at $12 for the day, so you can come and go throughout the day without paying an additional valet fee, which was very convenient. The valet staff was very nice and extremely helpful. If you don’t have cash for the tip, they do accept Cash App for tips."

"I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. We came and stayed from Friday to Monday for my daughter’s birthday because they had Disney on ice in Columbus. It was a very enjoyable stay we stayed in a king suite it was spacious the bathroom had a huge soaking tub that my daughter enjoyed. It had a beautiful big shower for two king size bed. The only complaint about the room was the bathroom doors were a little shaky they didn’t close all the way but besides that we enjoyed ourselves the staff was pleasant. The food is a little over priced and they don’t have a lot on the room service menu so plan to eat out but besides that we really enjoyed our stay. it was nice that area of Columbus Georgia definitely needs some TLC but the Riverwalk is beautiful. It was cold when we went so we didn’t get to enjoy the outside patio or the roof deck or the pool but I could imagine in the summertime that it would be very nice. I wish that the area surrounding the hotel had more things to do and that they would build up Columbus Georgia a little bit more and then it would be a perfect tourist area but all in all this hotel in particular five stars everybody that work there was super sweet and super nice."
