"Terrible! This hotel ripped us off. We could not even check in because they said we couldn't have our dog, though their own website clearly states "Pet Friendly"! The rude clerk lied to us saying you had to have a smoking room to have a pet, which we did, then proceeded to say we had to call ahead first to have a pet also not true as per their website! Then he asked for our dogs papers for service animal! The absolute worst hotel ever!"
"Update 202311: Have no idea why Google is showing my review as 5 stars when it is in fact 1 star. Avoid this hotel; it's right across the street from three-tracks of rails that are used at all times of the night. There is a railroad crossing across the street, so the trains are blowing their horns at least once an hour, even during the middle of the night. You have to sign a waiver saying you're aware of the tracks across the street and you will not get a refund. I'll never stay here again. I'll go further down the road and stay in Grayson instead. They're also short staffed, so we ended up buying pillows and towels in case we ran into such a room issue again after we left. We did end up using the towels. Why do hotels/motels give you 3 towels for 2 people? We need two each."
"Family of four. My tub broke we figure grab a hotel close by shower in relax for the night the room looks good but when we went to lay down we realized the burn holes then looks to be dry blood I paid 166 plus 100 hold to sleep in a bloody ashtray smh an you can’t take food to your room from breakfast I’m staying waiting for someone to come to the desk to check me out no one for over five minutes at least wow when I meant it dude flipped out screaming cause I told him."
"This was one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed in. The front desk guy had an attitude, and God forbid it be 8:45 the day of your checkout (which isn't until 11) and You're not out yet. The room smelled terrible, stains on the bedding. Gnats were all over the room, especially in the bathroom. The towels and wash cloths were so dingy. The house keepers had some serious attitude problems with anyone who walked outside their rooms. Not to mention they had small children with them and were not watching them."
"Hotel prices are on the rise as most things so I wasn't sure what to expect. We had been by a few times over the past year and stayed down the road at a hotel double the price the last time. The place was clean, the decor was updated, staff was friendly, and the breakfast was decent. We also had a fridge and microwave which was an added bonus. We will definitely stay again when in town."
